Not even for a second with Dwight. I’m still thoroughly disgusted with his time here and if I never thought about him again it would be too often.

He could but I think we'd be better off without him at that point. Boogie isn't the easiest player to integrate into a system, and inconsistency is the last thing we need in the playoffs.

For his own good he needs to wait and let his leg truly strengthen. Even if he winds up having to play overseas or something he needs to think long term.

We will be fine. He was always a low risk high reward guy for us.

He’s got to focus on his health and well being at this point.

This sucks monkey balls...I'm still extremely frustrated...seriously, WTF

Boogie now has suffered the 2 most feared injuries for NBA players within 2 years...in between another quad injury too....

Just horrible luck. Losing 200 mio. dollars and 2 years of his precious career to make a name for himself.

Will a Lakers team stay relatively healthy ever again ? Last time it happened I think it was during the 11-12 season

Doubtful. The Boogie injury aside.... Rondo and Bradley are certainly injury prone. McGee, Green and Dudley have had their fair share of injuries and are on the wrong side of 30. Lebron is a machine but he showed last season the mileage may be catching up to him. Davis tends to suffer various ailments

Good thing the Lakers have so much perimeter depth because wouldn't be a surprise if they had to turn to Cook, Caruso and Daniels for meaningful minutes at some point and all 3 are capable of producing in those roles. Lakers obviously need a big to address the frontcourt hit and I think they can withstand the inevitable injuries. And hopefully also allow for some load management too.

Bottom line we need a another real big and I'd prefer to not give up the spot reserved for Iggy (who we need more than Cousins). And that would mean waiving someone (please be Rondo). Get a serviceable big and Iggy and I'm fine with no DMC. Wouldn't be a part of the best unit on the
    team anyways.

The sad and ironic thing here is the Zubac trade was to make room for Kawhi who played us and we gave Zubac to the Clips.Yeah, he played us well.

    Get to work Rob.

Great eh? See when you label your own things and ideas as "great" it's not really arguing. Disagree, Zubac is worth what he got, Rondo isn't. Jerry West, Winger, Rivers and Ballmer aren't stupid as you are implying and as evidenced by the squad they've put together.

i didnt say anything bout clipps being stupid, my argument is Rob would've never given that contract to Zu whether he would've gotten that same offer if he was still a laker this past summer is debatable...theres good reason why eveyone we signed is maxed out at 2yrs

I hope the Lakers and guys on our team take care of him. He needs all the support he can get.
Even though he lost a lot of money, he can still live 500+ years off of what he made till now.

Was really excited to get Cousins, obviously this sucks for us but can't imagine how he feels.

Our main problem to me is still shot creation and maybe even shooters (a lot of our best shooters, such as Daniels or Cook, may not play much or at all). This injury made things worse obviously since we lost a great passing big and someone who can score and create on their own

Who can create their own shot rn? Lebron, AD, and Kuzma a bit.

None of our guards can. Rondo can create for others but nobody respects him to score much, plus he can't spread floor or play any defense.

WE NEED Caruso to be that guy or need a pg as well. Only realistic trade option (somewhat) is FVV. THT, Caruso, Avery, future 2nd, and cash. Not even sure if its enough

    Maybe darren collison unretires?

So for the Boogie replacement I would want Noah b/c he can playmake a bit for others or even Nene since he can still score down low a bit
