    I think he has a chance to improve, and I believe he will, IMO. So, while he may not be worth the Max Money presently, there is a chance he becomes that player during his contract...

    Not to mention, I'm sure there are plenty of worse ways that teams have and can spend their money going forward...

    Max money is a lot of money. It's like 1/3 of the team's cap. I would be far more comfortable paying him $25m a season than max.

    I'll do my free agent rankings soon and see where some of these guys fall. Russ is a much more complete player than he was last year, but you all know his issues - not a good defender (though improved) and a volume shooter.

    Bringing Dlo back doesn't make sense.

    He doesn't want to return (I'm sure) and the Lakers don't want to admit making a mistake by letting him go.

    He would be a good fit but he is a little too trigger happy to be the 3rd wheel of an offense. And frankly, its wasting his biggest talent.

    I don’t know. It’s a ton of firepower. But Russ is middle of the road defensively. LeBron is coasting. And Kuzma isn’t good. Is there enough defense on the team? Actually, what is the team? There’s almost no one on roster right now.
