    I want to explain the picture. I was giving a talk at Brevard College, and I told my daughter i wanted a ridiculous picture for the flier. We sent that, but they refused to use it. So I posted it on my faculty page where i teach instead.

    -Russ has to step up his game, obviously, but I expect him to shoot better with a stronger knee.

    The Nets probably aren't that high on Russell. That's my gut feeling. They aren't building around him either. He just seems to be a piece among other pieces.

    They could have offered him an extension already but obviously have not, even though Russell is probably dirt cheap at this point in this market.

    I think this is a make or break season. If he is the same indifferent immature player, his career path will be that of a role player. While that's (money wise) way better than anything I could ever earn in life, it's a massiv letdown for an immensely talented young man.

    I hope everyone remembers what I said about D-Lo...the guy isn't ever going to be a star. I always said he wouldn't be an all star and I would get flamed for it.
