Are You Sure You Want To Like This Post?

I've been getting this message quite a bit recently after I try to "like" a post. It asks me that question and then asks me to answer Yes or No. Why? This is annoying. If I'm not sure I want to like a post, I can always "unlike" the post afterwards.

 

Just Mac and PC computers so far. Not on mobile phones yet.

It doesn't happen all the time. Just once in a while. Like once or twice a week.

 

There is another possibility it says:

“May take into account the online reputation of the original poster you are quoting or replying to”

It goes on to explain some other features that I had no idea were so sophisticated. Big brotherish.

 

..... like it might wonder if someone really wanted to "Like" one of your worst poo gifs used in a discussion?

 

Based on my sterling online reputation(s), I’m certain that warning would never pop up.
