Booker let Beverly and Holiday take him out of the game for stretches. He has ways to go, knows it...which is why he asked everyone stop comparing him to Bryant.

I'd have the guts. Luka is a 22 year old superstar and is already arguably the best player in the game. I'd trade AD for him in a nanosecond, even at the expense of hurting Klutch's feelings. Luka in Dallas is going to be problems for the league. Getting Luka at 22 on the Lakers? Players would flock to LA.

i think it's moot; as dallas would trade him for exactly nobody, but in a vacuum, he's a slightly more valuable player than AD right now. not a lot more, but more.

that said, i'm not sure if i'm the lakers that i would pull the trigger. similar to the lillard discussion (though lillard is neither as good nor as young as doncic).

i really feel like we've rebuilt ourselves as a place that treats players right and builds legacies and relationships and such. trading AD (or lebron) against their wishes could jeopardize that.

I'd have very little will if tempted with The Luka.

One thing that I have liked so far this off season is you haven't heard squat from the AD front. No boasting of his off season programs or useless commentary that he is coming into the season ready.

Unless he said it on Twitter. I don't have Twitter.

True. I would argue Booker is nowhere near Kobe on offense either. Today's teams average almost 20ppg more than during Kobe's time, so of course Booker is going to have a lot of high scoring games.

Kobe at one point was routinely dropping 50 like it was an average Tuesday; let's see Booker drop 60 religiously and then we can talk.

I have a Twitter account I made 12 years ago right when Twitter started. In those 12 years I have made 4 tweets...total, none of them at any time that could remotely be considered recently. I have no Instagram. I have no Facebook. I have no Tiktok. What I do have is hours of time to do more constructive things that would have undoubtedly been consumed by those malignant tumors of society had I allowed myself to be sucked into them. More constructive things like posting on Lakersball, the greatest collection of Lakers fans to ever grace this Earth.

I also don't spend any time on social media. I only see tweets when someone links them here, for example. Don't have Facebook, let alone Instagram and/or whatever else is out there.

As much as I dislike Bookers attitude he has the drive to be the man and he's learning from CP3 now. He's just getting started and I think he could be a top 5-7 player in the league soon if he stays on his current trajectory.

I think the whole suns run to the finals is a little overrated along with Booker. We were injured missing AD, Nuggets were missing Murray, Clippers were missing Kawhi. Then they ran into the Bucks who aren’t even the best team in the East.

Hard to argue and I don't disagree. Book can ball though and he's getting better every year. Tootelage under CP3 is gonna quicken his learning curve too. I don't care for his attitude but you can't argue his game
