don't rush AD back to finish 7th instead of 9th. that's the height of stupidity.

i'd say just sit him the rest of the season. it's obvious this season is a failure and it's time to start looking at next season

get AD healthy, dump westbrook and revamp the roster, and look to make one last title run with lebron

i'd like to see him get back out there. i think part of his continued injury issues last year had to do with getting out of shape because he was injured. i think we also need to exhaust every possibility with russ/AD/lebron heading into the summer's decisions.

just no need to rush. we really just need to see 20 games with all three, not playing jordan.

Many of us felt this way about Kobe after he won his third ring, but we stuck with him and won two more, and he became a franchise legend. I wouldn’t give up on AD so easily.

Ace you’re my guy but one scored 81 in one game and many more mind bottling accomplishments like spectacularly willing in a line up with Smush in it into the playoffs…I can’t even..no:Laugh:

Won't matter. If AD has something between his ears he sees the same s*** we see and knows this team isn't going anywhere.

So, he won't kill himself. Instead, he'd rehab on the court, prepare for the offseason in hopes that next season is going to be better (it won't).

Or, he just lost it and will remain a beta for the rest of his career.

There was never a question (aside from some asinin conspiracy theories about playoff game throwing) about Kobe's will or desire to win. Or killer instinct.

I wish the same could be said about AD.

Also, and as required, imaing Kobe's brain in AD body.

i've gone over this, but AD without a second star looked an awful lot like kobe did without a second star.

Vogel always says "no timetable" even if the guy is coming back next week.

The lineup you suggested is what I want as well, with the potential to swap in someone like Melo for Stanley depending on matchups. We all know Lebron is the de facto PG, so no issue with Malik at the 1. I think that lineup is a nice balance of defense and shooting.

    What?????
    No.
    Not.
    Even.
    Close.
It will take me too long to post the 100 ways in which Kobe was way better than AD when they both were sans Robin.

If playing our 5 best players is crazy, I don’t want to be sane.

I’m pretty sure he just means results, multiple first round exits. Nobody wins alone, no matter how good, not Kobe, not Jordan, not LeBron, nobody.

yeah. AD may have been even more impressive statistically, tbh. some advanced stats favor each, and the counting stats were incredible for each at their solo peaks. and they both lost a lot. i remember AD being absolutely terrifying as an opposing player. every time he went to the bench, the pelicans just fell apart. all the time.

and this was my point: AD is constantly getting flack (from his own team's fans, no less) for not doing enough before he was here. just pure garbage takes not at all grounded in reality. michael jordan's team won 55 games and went to the conference semifinals without him. AD's teams might have won -12 basketball games without him.

this is not meant to start an AD vs kobe conversation, just pointing out, as weezy said, that citing poor results for individual players in s***ty situations is a bad idea.
