probably not related to the stomach bug he had a few weeks back. guessing it's either a flu or he ate something bad

Was so focused on bulking up that he let his immune system go to s***?

Hopefully he plays. I think AD, Russ, and Melo's return game will be enough to beat them. But if he can't go, we lose.

Pedestrian effort at best when we needed beast mode. Hopefully he's feeling better and over being sick against Indy.

thought he played weak d to start, but was very good on that end in the second half.

we're getting better about getting him the ball in better spots, but there's still not enough of an effort. and he needs to get more contact on the pick and roll with russ. dj does and gets dunks off of it. what's weird is AD gets contact on other screens. it's like he's too eager to get the roll going with russ.

AD's basically looking at multiple defenders when he looks at the paint.

i've been telling this to the "beta" crowd all year. you can't drive on that. but we need to get him the ball going downhill, and we need to set him up to make easy passes for a hockey assist. to me, that's where the offensive coaching has fallen short. AD is not a "dump it to him 20ft from the bucket and get out of the way" guy. really, no bigs are.

and the only real hole in his game is his passing, which teams are banking on a bit and winning. we need to find ways to make that part easier for him. i think they exist.

First of all, I do agree that AD should sit this one out, since he is obviously sick. And we don't want other guys to catch the bug from him.

With that said, are we EVER going to have everyone available?

i wonder if AD's had a bug for the past two weeks, tbh. would explain a lot.

i wonder if AD's quest to prove people wrong about his fragility is a good thing. i was fine with having an absolute beast for 85% of games instead of a guy looking to conserve energy for 100% of games.

what's everyone else's %? attempts? minutes? context matters. also, he's been huge in close games, and we've (unfortunately) been blown out a bit.

i don't know what this means. 20+ teams swap their best player for AD. i get that fans are upset. i agree that AD hasn't been peak AD for 36mpg. but lebron certainly hasn't (hasn't even been as good as AD, tbh), and it's crickets in his thread. people are fussing about AD missing tonight's game when he's played in 90% of our games, and lebron's played in 40% of our games.

people probably thought randle outplayed AD last night, when a) he certainly did not, and b) his team would trade him and literally everyone else for AD. all of them. tomorrow.

I wish we saw more Pick and Roll action with AD instead he basically brought the ball up the floor to dump to Lebron. AD is completely lost and underutilized on this team.

That’s Bron’s “Bro”. LeGenius can’t help with that realization in games, since he does what he wants anyway?

They should run pick and roll with Russ or Lebron and AD like 20 times a game. It’s such an easy bread and butter scoring play. Instead we spent almost the whole second half of the fourth plus the overtimes pounding the ball into the ground with no ball movement and no set plays. It’s hard to watch such dysfunctional ball. Play after play wasting the shot clock and throwing up desperation shots.

Thought he got better as the game went along. His D and blocks were big in keeping us alive.

But... stop shooting f***ing 3s. He thinks he's Steph Curry where he's closer to Eddy Curry. Worst 3 point shooter in the league, don't care what stats say.... that's what the eye test shows and I'm not looking it up. Why does he insist on hoisting them up?! He makes Russ look like a great shooter.
