More shots close to the basket makes me happy. He made two threes, but his % is still super low. As long as he’s this aggressive, his three pnt % won’t really matter.

Phenomenal game today especially that first half where he shot 75% from the field for 27 points. Just an all around great game from AD.

Im absolute beast mode tonight, no question.

I wish he could duplicate that more often. Obviously the talent is there.

Second straight Q1 being alpha AD. Than carries the rest of the game shooting from outside. We just have to accept that he will be dominant only some minutes or some games and not everytime has we hoped for.

    monSTAR!

In the first Q, he played like the most unstoppable force in the league. Really maximized SA having nothing of size to throw at him.

I think Pop made some good adjustments at the half by blitzing more pressure towards him and AD was starting to tire and settled more. He was hitting most those shots and still making them pay.... even hit a couple 3s. Speaking of Pop, is he on edibles this year? He's way too calm with how bad his team is.

Hopefully AD can equally punish the undersized Bulls tonight, too.

Getting ejected was just the cherry on top of a soft performance.

I think it started with the free throw on the technical foul. He threw the ball back to the ref a certain way and the ref had it in the back of his mind in that whole sequence of his ejection.

His ejection was a blessing in disguise, we didn't have to play him unnecessary minutes

9 shots for your premier player isn't getting it done.

Obviously not a great game. But while I don't know what it is, I have to assume there should have been a schematic resolution to all the aggressive double teams thrown at him. I put this more on Vogel and/or the supporting cast just not being threatening enough offensively.

I've had my nitpicks, but overall AD has been a monster this year.

Truth is AD's impact hasn't been the same since the Bubble.

If he were the same 1A/1B 2 way caliber player in the 2020/2021 season, we would still have AC and KCP (the guys who actually fit well with LBJ/AD) and we wouldn't desperately need to gut the team depth to go get a 3rd star. He's partly responsibly for this team's current predicament too.

I had this one down as a 30 pt loss going in.

CHI is around 10 years younger than the Lakers and they play D; our D sucks. I expect Westbrook to 1.) turn it over every time he handles it, OR 2.) brick a shot. (He wasn't that bad tonight.)

AD played well last game and you can almost bank on him not having a 2nd straight good game. Check. He is a fantastic talent but the SOFTEST superstar you'll ever see. I know he hates hearing that. And I really do love AD the person. His game can be at times breathtaking. But he will get injured. Lebron will get injured again after this....

This road trip is going to be an EPIC suck show. And yea, I know they're still learning to play together. I know Lebron is still hurt.

I just don't think you can sign 8 guys at vet min; they're on their way out. Their best days are over. They've gotten PAID and they don't want to put up with the hardcore expectations of Laker fans. They really don't care all that much. That's why this season is going to be pug fugly.

This is my first post here. I've been a Lakers fan since 1970. I'm ancient. I've seen pretty much everything. I hope I'm wrong about all this dark negative stuff, but man: WTF did Pelinka think when he dumped so many younger core, hungry, hustling smart players for a bunch of vet mins and a $44mil dude who fills up the stat sheet for perennial LOSERS?

I was on the seriously idiotic, kool-aid-drinking Silver Screen and Roll until I noticed my posts started disappearing. Only the negative ones, though. Like this one. Funny.

THT is fun to watch though, eh? He's still a little out of control but I love how he can create a shot for himself whenever he wants.

And no, I'm not a "hater." I watched what happened in the off-season and thought, will we even make the playoffs with this geriatric set?

Gawd I hope I'm wrong and you all call me out for it. At this point all I really want if to beat the effing C Bags both times.

Hey man welcome to LB. Great first post. Your concerns are valid about this team, health is a problem and so is the way the roster is constructed and how we are losing these games.
