I like Zo, but the thought of never having to deal with his dad nor his "camp" make me giddy if he is traded for Davis.

If we had to keep one of of young guys, my vote would be Lonzo. But ultimately we have to do what we have to do to get AD. I don’t like the idea of waiting until he hits free agency.

Keep in mind even if we trade all of of our young core (BI, Kuz, Ball, Zubac) + KCP for AD and Etwaun Moore, we would still have cap space come summer time (albeit not enough for another max player) to fill out the roster with really good role players to surround LeBron/AD.

If we manage to keep Hart, Svi, Bonga, Wagner + $5 mil from the Deng stretch, we would have about $24 mil to spend (assuming a 109 mil cap).

You can re-sign Rondo for $9 mil, sign Vucevic for 4 years $15 mil (if we are lucky).

Sign McGee for the minimum again and TJ McConnell for the MLE.

Your depth chart could look like:

    Rondo/McConnell
    Hart/Svi/Moore
    LeBron
    AD/Wagner
    Vucevic/McGee

We would need to find wint player vets who can shoot the 3 to fill out the roster but we got a decent rotation

Would trading Ball, Kuzma, Zubac and the 2023 and 2025 1st round picks for AD and Holiday be overpaying? Would it nix any chance the Lakers had to sign a SG like Butler or Kawhi this summer due to the lost cap space? Not sure who would play SG if we had a lineup of McGee,AD,JBJ and Holiday. I would assume Ingram would be dealt for bench depth in that scenario since we'd definitely be in "win now" mode after such a trade.

Well firstly salaries do not match at all. AD and Jrue make like $50mil combined.

Of all of our Youth, I'd prefer to keep Lonzo in this deal, but don't really give AF to be honest.
I do like the idea of Lonzo with Lebron, AD & a true SG (signed this Summer)
But I'm definitely in the camp of "Give NOLA anyone & everyone they want, not named LeBron, as long as we keep our Max Cap Space this Summer...

Yes, Woj does indeed hate us. Has said he doesn’t see why any free agents (Kawhi, KD, etc) would join us this offseason, has been saying for months our package for AD can’t compete with what Boston can offer. I guess once you join ESPN you’re required to hate the Lakers. Either that or they just hire a lot of already Laker-hating people like Rachel Nichols, Michelle Beadle, Paul Pierce, etc, etc, etc.

i guess i get the love Woj n all the other pundits have for Tatum but it's not like Kuz is that far behind n hes only 2yrs older than Tatum.....n everyone is just assuming Ainge gives up Tatum, i still think its questionable if they include tatum more likely try to pawn off Hayward, brown and picks

Considering Woj is now with BSPN, a NorthEast based company aka Boston, of course he’s going to be on the other end of the bias now.

He never was before, he never used to input anything to his bombs before, but now has inaight on what makes the best offer, fit, and destination.

it will be interesting to see how the young guys handle the trade rumors since reporters will be extra aggressive in trying to make up packages for their writing on the internets

Their sources will be other reporters that use other reporters as sources, and there won't actually be any new material until the offseason.

If we actually are successful in trading for AD, I will shave my dog and my cat bald and post pictures. That's how much a waste of time I think it actually is. I just really see no motivation for NO to move now or be in a hurry.

Unless Bron's people have been setting people up "House of Cards" style and have scandalous pics of the NO front office in compromising positions.
