Another stunning game. 26, 13, 2 and 3 in 27 minutes of play. Dominant.

right. where's the triple double? why wasn't he guarding beal? i mean, if that's what you guys want from a "star" player, i guess...

Past two games, we've really seen two teams that have no answer for him. It's fun watching him beat up on the inferior opposition.

Pelicans had to put a combo guard on him. Wiz tried their entire roster minus Wall and he cooked them for a point a minute-ish. Had he stayed in and if the game was close, he could've gotten 45-20 easy.

I loved Pau when he came here and he fit perfectly with Kobe, Odom, Bynum and with Phil at the helm. He played two incredible seasons as a great complementary big next to Kobe and we got it done, beating Dwight in Orlando and the hated C Bags. He was my favorite Laker in many years.

But then that next season he was just so completely off in attitude. He was whiny as all get out and complained all season long. He was very passive aggressive. Don't know and we'll never know exactly what was wrong with him - we've all heard rumors, but I don't think we'll get the truth. The final straw was the playoffs when he just completely sucked and Phil had to hit him in the chest! I could no longer stand the guy after that. It was the beginning of the end of my fandom and his successful career. He was a shadow of himself after that. He's a great human being with visiting kids in the hospital and all. But I hated him after that as a basketball player. He played like a wuss.

Anthony Davis right now is better than Pau ever was. Sorry. He is truly a monster two way player. He's playing at Defensive Player of the Year levels while still piling up 26 points, 9 boards, and 3.5 assists a game to go with his 3 blocks and 1.5 steal pg. He is dominant on both ends of the floor. He's also only 26 years old, just entering his prime. He's a top 5 NBA player. I don't think Pau was ever on the level AD is at this moment and he's only getting better.

Pau did mail it in after the 2nd title. He went all out every summer for Spain NT and just used the Lakers as a milking cow and floated for the rest of his stay then left and played hard to become an all-star in Chicago lol. That's the way it looked to me but I will remember him fondly for the titles. AD will surpass him no doubt

i don't know if AD will surpass pau's laker legacy--that will require at least one title--but he's already surpassed pau as a basketball player overall. this has been my point. we're nitpicking AD right now and idealizing pau. as a couple folks have detailed, it wasn't always a love affair with pau here, either.

I dont see this "dominant" offensive player, seems quite easy to turn him into a jump shooter n without james getting him easy buckets his fg% would be alot lower than it is now but he is domiant n head n shoulders above alot of other defensive players. its rare to see bigs that can recover after getting beat from the perimiter n still blk the shot

hopefully AD is just saving himself for the playoffs because those mid-range jumpers bug the hell out of me

hmm, i'd love to see the degree of variance there. not sure how meaningful it is.
