I like McKinnie. He’s actually a decent bench wing player.

McKinnie is our extra wing defender. Was right under our noses all along. Spectacular game. Did a little bit of everything. Defended, rebounded and hit open shots.

Did he celebrate after the game? There was no travel involved, that's a little odd

WTH with him now?? Yeah that seems odd. Unless he was exposed unknowingly earlier and just finally is exhibiting symptoms. Which would really suck because the whole team would have been exposed now. Hopefully not that!!

I just want to give this guy some credit. He came into the game with a confidence in his shot that I hadn’t seen before. When he hit that first 3, he stepped into it like he knew it was going up before he received the pass. We could do a lot worse and he filled in well on this road trip.

Interestingly enough, he shoots over 40% for 3.

He seems to play taller than he is, rebounds well and plays good hard D.

that play stood out to me, too.

if you squint, he's a bit like dorian finney smith in dallas, who's a pretty good role player.

He’s a nice player to have off the bench for sure.

Yeah for someone who I originally assumed was dead weight/cap filler, McKinnie has impressed me whenever he’s got an opportunity. Always hustles and has a knack for the offensive board, and I’m actually confident in his jump shot.

With the play-in close to being locked up, might be a good idea to give him some extra run in these next few games. Both to rest our other guys, but also to see more of what he’s made of. There may be some spot situations where we could use him in the playoff rotations when we need an extra wing defender.

Every time McKinnie plays, all he does is produces. I’d much rather have him playing in a series vs teams with big wings like the Clips and Nuggets than Matthews.

Absolutely not. If Wes can secure a W against Randle and Olynyk in the biggest possessions of the game, I'm trusting him in the playoffs over a 12th/13th man. I don't care if the opposition is 5-3 or 7-2, I'm taking Wes over McK every assignment.

I respectfully disagree. Did you see his play vs PG and Kawhi this season?
