Needs more minutes. Game is completely changed when he's in the game

I really hope this stops all the people who think of him like Dellavedova or other pgs who shine next to Lebron. No Lebron, no AD and he is still playing great and making winning plays.

Had to bump the Bald Eagle back to the first page. Get well soon. We need your defense for the playoffs.

Ugh. We just always seem to be down a couple top 8 guys. Especially against these guards tonight.

Eagle plays physical basketball, takes charges.... that's all great, but he's going to have more back problems in the future. It can only get worse as you get older, trust me on this one.

Needed the Eagle tonight for sure: team is so discombobulated right now between all these on the fly lineups.

Without AC, Lebron, and even Gasol and Matthews team isn't playing that gritty defense that has been it's hallmark

seriously, that stretch in the third that lost the game--you telling me AC doesn't make at least one play to stem the tide there? i think he does. instead we've got dudes getting lost on non-back screens for dunks.

Bron’s back tonight .... time for the best 1-2 plus/minus punch in the NBA to saddle up.

I don't get all the Alex hype. He is a decent player. I
Like him. But some see him as a savior lol

Hype?? My joke was a real thing last season. For some of it or most of it. 2nd best defensive rating for a guard in the entire NBA currently. Barely behind Conley. “Eagle denier” watch out ..... you DON’T want to be on @Cookie ’s “List”.

PS .... those facts aside .... you are new here and have missed the history and fun we’ve had with Alex on this site. We love the the guy. Back to facts ... he makes winning plays often in games whether he’s scoring or not.

You may not know because you're new here, but most of the overhype is intentional and manufactured.
He's a fan favorite, that is all. Even Lebron calls him the GOAT lol

Hype..? He’s legitimately and measurably one of the best defensive players in the league. His effort and hustle, knowing when to make the smart plays, has won us games, important games. I don’t like when people boil a player down to comments like this, it’s not good arguing, it’s a bad take.

Speaking of THT. Bit frustrating with all this experimentation: just go with DS, KCP, AC, THT minutes. Really didn't understand why THT barely played in the second half. He works really well with Lebron

i know you're joking, but it's not at all close right now (and i think you know that). THT is a minus on defense currently, and he still hasn't figured out how to maximize his (prodigious) offensive talents within the team concept (he'll get there, i think).

no guard on our team is as consistent on both ends as AC. team-first, right play almost every time. just incredibly valuable. now, is some of that because we put him positions to succeed (i.e., keep his minutes down and play him some against second-stringers)? of course. he's not a superstar. but he's a guard version of shane battier, imo. and you need those to win. what an incredible find as an undrafted FA.

Well Frank obviously Lurks here, I think that's why McClemore gets the burn .... he can shoot and get hot ..... to try to soothe everyone's continuing cries about our shooting "potential" from outside. Performance actually when we suck. We heard this off and on all last year and then especially in the Bubble season finishing games. Then our money players showed up. I expect the same this year. I expect one of them is going to be Wes Matthews. He'd have done better for sure than Green this year both sides of the ball and can get hot just like McLemore, if he'd had that starting slot like Green had it. But of course the valid reasons why Schroeder had it instead.
