    GSW still has their full MLE. Wouldn't be surprised if Mills signs with them. Hope I'm wrong though cause we need a solid backup pg.

    New Orleans is the only new team one on the list who can give him more than $10m. If they're hoping he can be what JJ wasn't for them.

    He's still chasing money. Glad we aren't on that list.

    Meh..Alex gets overrated a lot around here. We obviously didn't think he was worth 9 million or our MLE and he is our own free agent. Alex wasn't even in our crunchtime starting 5 when he was here. He avg 20 mins a game, shot 37% from the field, 29% from three, 1reb .5 assists with 1 steal for the Phoenix series. I can't call that some kind of big deal..I'm sorry.

    I don't understand how they could have a full 9.75 MLE when they are already about 29 million dollars over the hard cap. 5.9 yes.. 9.75 NO

    Blasphemy! He was playing hurt during that series as has been pointed out many times. You are conveniently ignoring the fact that he was the second highest rated defender in the NBA for almost the entire year. And if I’m not mistaken he was shooting about 40% from three. He was all heart, played great, scrappy defense, hustled, and played extremely well alongside Lebron. He is going to be missed dearly. He was a terrific competitor. And not paying him $9 million a year is a pretty bad look from Rob unless he pulls off a great deal elsewhere.

    Doesn't matter about regular season ratings when it comes to the playoffs. What counts is what you do in the playoffs, when you are chasing chips. The numbers are what they are, he was all those things you mentioned but we decided not to match. This tells me that in the final analysis, the team didn't feel that he was as critical as some fans do. Adding Westbrook changed everything, when you add a superstar, some of the role players are going to suffer the consequences. Unfortunately Caruso fit the bill.
