Assuming ad and LeBron are healthy, there isn’t need for another creator come playoff time. Takes two to stop either, makes life easy for the carusos if the world.

In fact, it makes retaining rondo even less defensible. Give the man a clipboard.

Avery Bradley at 90% of what he was with the C Bags will be the "PG" to close out games. Him and Danny Green to lock up the other teams guards and spread the floor. That is all you need with AD and Lebron taking up 4 of the 5 defenders on the floor. And Kuzma will keep his man honest as well.

Rondo is here because Lebron and AD like him and think he's a "gamer" or whatever. I see it like Kobe and Fisher. Fisher was terrible. Opposing pgs set up generations of their family for life because of the contracts he got them. He hits a couple big shots in big moments and he is all of a sudden a warrior. If Fisher hadn't been a traffic cone on defense, he probably doesn't need to hit those big shots because the Lakers are already winning comfortably.

The funniest one might be Curry's 3, which he - of course - makes by shooting from his own 3-pt line?!

Also, this is how Giannis does it:

Dribbles, thinks "I am going to dunk on this dude now!"; jumps high - "nah, he's big, not gonna happen. Let me just hang in the air for 2-3 seconds until I figure out what to do next".

“As things have settled Iggy is pushing more and more for a release. He personally feels like he is being held hostage but will remain professional. Last I heard this morning is that its between the Rockets and Lakers. Source says if he goes to LA it will be with the Lakers because of the Pelinka relationship. Rockets have a shot! “

Htown is roughly 5.4m from hitting the tax apron of 139m. They have 5.7m remaining from their non-tax MLE. They are restricted to use up to 5.4m of that amount, in which case they can beat our best offer of the vet min valued at about 2.6m.

I guess it comes down to how much Iggy gives back in his buyout. If it's substantial, he can make that much more back with Htown's potential offer. Also the benefit of the Htown offer to the Griz is that if it's set-off, Iggy's dead cap hit for the Griz decreases far than if he were to sign with the Lakers (ie 500k reduced off Griz cap sheet if he signs with us vs 2m reduced off their books if he signs with Htown).

Wow. Will he take less for this season to play for the Los Angeles Lakers on our roster with an excellent chance for a ring vs that Houston collection of characters?

Giannis' one at 4:38 min mark was the most impressive to me out of the entire video. Spectacular!

guessing he'll take more to play for houston, who can offer him a bigger role and chased him hard in the past. but i'd really like to get him.

at his age, i'm not sure he's the one that swings things, but i'd rather he play anywhere but houston.

Here’s how I expect to react:

    1) Iggy signs with Lakers: he’s the difference maker to win the title

    2) Iggy signs with Houston: he’s old and broken and will be garbage

I think Iggy would actually be the missing piece here, like truly make us title favorites. His defense, his playmaking, his play under pressure, big shot making ability, all absolutely huge, it’s how he got that Finals MVP. He’d be perfect to back up LeBron to help us keep him fresh, and to play the 3 with LeBron and AD at the 4 & 5 to close out close games. I’d be incredibly pissed if he went to Houston, but of course I’d understand for the reasons you listed, more money, bigger role. Still, I’D rather play with LeBron and AD than Westbrook and Harden, there’s only one ball out there.

i mean, you don't have to convince me that houston sucks in all ways. but players don't seem to agree with us for some reason. i hope you're right, though. whichever team he chose between those two would probably become the favorite in a series featuring the teams.

so maybe i understated his value earlier. i think i made that statement factoring in the possibility of injury given his age and mileage. good chance he's not at full strength when the games matter most.
