Not at you, more towards Twitter. I have no problem with people saying someone is playing bad and calling them out on facts. But I find that some of the things said by randoms on social media are quite toxic.

He's still getting to the rim but he's not finishing (perhaps loss of athleticism and better contests).

If he can work with Handy and develop a floater or teardrop it can help his cause

It’s brain farting lack of concentration once he gets there …. at high speed horizontally and/or vertically any number of ways because exactly he still has plenty of athleticism to do that. IMO.

It’s this simple: we don’t even need him to score a lot. If the guy just facilitated and played great D( which he totally has the athleticism to do), we would be a much better team.

I agree. He puts up 16 shots a game despite being literally the least efficient scorer on the entire roster. He can't score at the rim, from mid range, the 3 point line, or even shoot FTs.

I mean, 50% TS with his volume is just putrid. The only thing he should be doing is driving and dishing and using all his energy on defense.

    Harden’s a bum.
    Looks like a bum.
Plays the game like a bum.
Lives his life in strip clubs like a bum.
Puts up hallow numbers like a bum.
    Bum.

If he had to play in the 90s, his super soft a$$ would be nothing. He wouldn’t get half of his fake phantom calls and would be properly knocked on his huge rump!

    He deserves it all!
He makes a mockery of the game and I’m embarrassed for any of his “fans.”

    DAMN!!!

It was nice to see Russ do some of the good Russ things. Actually elevating on the his best poster in years. To the sprint and-1 with 40 ticks left. Shooting percentage wasn't good, but played a little more aggressive. Stayed more engaged and only 2 TOs.

And he proceeded to suck in the second half. Show that video to some team that needs to sell seats and get rid of that contract.
Don't really care who it's for either but this game was one by the Johnson/Reaves/Monk/THT lineup and you have to be able to finish the games with your best lineups.

Vogel was close to sitting him nearly the entire 4th but couldn't quite push it till the end.

This is the Westbrook we need.
    Play under control.
Don’t try to do too much.
    Don’t be a liability on D.
    Simple.

I thought by Russ standards he had a pretty good game. If he plays like that more often it’s the best we can hope for. That dunk though, was nasty, got me out of my seat, just fun.

this is exactly the type of game the teams needs from russ in order to win

he needs to just sit back and not try to do too much. the less he's involved, the better off the team is

I think we’ve all come to terms with the fact that we’re stuck with Russ, at the very least for the rest of this year, possibly longer.

So I think it’s important to take the little victories when we can.

Great game from him. Nothing too spectacular from a box score perspective, but he didn’t force things and had a few timely plays that were huge for our momentum. Even many of his misses today, I thought were much more within the flow of the offense.

And obviously, that dunk was possibly the dunk of the year across the entire league so far.

I also couldn’t help but find it adorable when he picked up the mop and started cleaning up the wet spot in the first quarter.

Everyone keeps saying this is the type of game they want from Russ, this is how he has been playing for a little while. He has just been shooting terribly (not that today was better).

Vogel rests him to start the fourth and brings him in around half way through for the whole year.

Also it’s clear to me he is still athletic enough to get to the rim, and the figures back it up he gets to the rim the most of any player in the league. He just isn’t finishing well there for about 10-15 or so games now. Which is frustrating because if he goes back to 65% he is a huge positive.

This is also the most engaged I've seen him all year. I think he should be allowed to get a couple of highlight reel plays for his liking early in the game and then he'd be more willing to do whatever the team wants.

Didn’t have any stupid moments. 25-30 mins is ideal for him.
