Why do they keep saying Western Conference Champs?

Yeah. This is something the Clippers might lay claim to. We're the Lakers. We don't care about regular season accolades.

This "bubble thing" doesn't do it for me. I thought i would be ecstatic after the restart but so far, meh.
Even if we win it all, im holdind an "*" to this years title.

I think what he means is there is no Western Conference champ yet this year. The playoffs will decide that. So far, we only finished first in the Pacific Division, but not the Western Conference.

I'm fine with the bubble. I'm just not ok with the Lakers' performances so far. They need to get their act together if they are going to make any noise in the playoffs at all. Right now they look like a first round exit. I don't trust their chances at this moment against Portland. The other teams I think they can take, but Dame and the Blazers are motivated and playing well.

portland was already going to be a tough matchup due to their size

but now with dame having extra motivation, it's gonna be even tougher

The Suns play like champions, Book = best player in the bubble.

Just read that Milwaukee is also 2-4 in their last six games... They did win their game against Washington even if Dr. Lipstick got Giannis ejected.

to each their own. I personally have no problem with the bubble. I really don't see any huge negative. and really? an asterisk? every team playing is dealing with the same thing. I think this title might actually be harder than a normal one

Im not saying it's easier, it's "skewed" in my book. Just like the lockout season was. I can totally see a team like HOU, winning it all (no way in hell they would stand a chance in the normal season and playoffs).
