Man, younger Bosh would be absolutely perfect for this team.

LOL/WTH …. looks like he’s fighting a 10 year old kid, and getting after it. Who thought this was a good match up? Or was there a grudge of some sort involved? In any event training should have got him in decent shape …. sign him up! :D

Still repping the purple and gold even if he couldn’t officially do the exact Lakers colors. He knew what he was doing there.

Belfort Starched Holyfield and Anderson Silva put Tito Ortiz to sleep as well. I'd like to see Odom step up his competition, I think he has a little bit of talent

Didn’t Holyfield (59) never should have been in there …. sub in for De La Hoya who late scratched and also shouldn’t be in there? Or was this fight separate?

    December 15th:

Westbrook, THT, and Nunn to Portland for Lillard and Covington.

    Lakers roster after trade:

    Pf-James, Anthony
    Sf-Covington, Ariza, 14th man
    C-Davis, Howard, Jordan
    PG-Lillard, Rondo
    SG-Ellington, Monk, Bazemore

    Not too bad.

0% chance Portland doesn't block Rob's number after such a proposal . Westbrook is a good #2, great #3. No one is trading their best player and a top 10 player in the league for that. Maybe if we had a slew of valuable 1st round picks to offer.... but we don't.

I hear you. But, let's just say Nunn, who is 26 years old starts the season as the starting shooting guard and puts up 15ppg while hitting 3 out of 7 threes per game for 42% and THT, who is only 20 years old? starts the season as a sensational 6th man, averaging 13ppg off of the bench in only 24 minutes? Also, Westbrook getting around 18ppg,10rpg and 11 apg? Add to that, maybe some rumblings of Lillard, who is 31 years old being unhappy and maybe even asking for a trade. I would say such a trade could be possible.

This is more of a 2k kind of trade scenario. There is a gentleman’s agreement that every star player gets a proper chance - which means at the least a single full season. I don’t see anyway we trade Westbrook until next off season - it’s just a bad look otherwise.

Secondly, if Russ is close to a 20/10/10 and Nunn is putting up 15 on good efficiency - the starting unit is putting up close to 80 points. If THT is balling as well, we probably started the season red hot losing only a handful of games. Which asks the question, why would a 1st seed blow up a team that started off so strong? It’s never happened and never will.

Lillard is a pipe dream and Lavine is worse than Russ anyway.

We don't need Dame. Little guys running around jacking up a bunch of threes are overrated in today's game.

Yeah, tell that to Curry, Irving, Rose, Beal, McCollum, Morant, Mitchell, Paul, Lowry, etc. Man the list of guards under 6'3" that are excellent NBA players is too long to list.

I honestly don't think we will ever get Dame and if Westbrook comes through at all, it will never happen anyhow. But your argument is not the best I have heard.

well, i think reducing lillard to a little guy running around jacking threes is a big stretch. there are lots of those. there maybe 2-3 who do that and can credibly carry a top-notch nba offense in the process.

we're not getting him. we don't NEED him. but wanting him makes an awful lot of sense.

You just listed a bunch of little guys, I specifically said, little guys that run around jacking up a bunch of threes. That doesn't apply to all of them. Westbrook is one of those excellent guards too, he isn't a three point marksman either. I don't think Dame is ever going to win a title unless he gets with a top big, I don't think Curry will ever win another one either. Kyrie might with the other two guys in Brooklyn. Negative on the rest. If a little guy is your best player, I don't believe you are winning a title today.

Isaiah Hartenstein has agreed to a training camp deal with the Los Angeles Clippers, as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
The Nets had some interest in Hartenstein, but since signing LaMarcus Aldridge they’re pretty set in the big man department. He had some decent moments with the Cavs and even racked up a double-double in April, but given that it’s just a training camp deal, nothing is imminent. No matter what, he can be ignored in all fantasy leagues.
