    The only thing I disagree with is Ellington. I think in the right situation he won't need that many minutes to get going. If all he has to do is catch and shoot or come off screens, I think he's a perfect back-up SG. Not to mention he's shown that he can shoulder extra minutes if and when Kobe has to sit next season.

    It's pretty much been said, but

    Clarkson
    Randle
    Black
    Ellington
    Davis
    Kobe

    Don't care about anyone else. I'd trade Young if I could. Nice player, but he's always got some nagging injuries, looking at his history he's always on losing teams (which I don't think is a coincidence), and I don't like his mentality. The celebration after beating Boston or whoever it was did it for me, he clearly doesn't get what real winning is, and I want players that aren't going to celebrate that stuff and be cooler about it, knowing titles are what we are about. Harsh, yes, but he lost me there. I keep flashing back to many things Roos used to say last season about this guy, and Kobe was also right, the Swaggy P act gets old when he sucks.

    ^^ If we don't get a big in the draft I'd actually prefer we get Johnson at PF, just because we have Clarkson as a young PG who we can develop and I'd like a vet PG for a starter. For whatever reason it seems like slim pickings right now at SF in FA. Maybe I'm wrong?

    Kobe, Randle, .......... Clarkson........big drop off...... Ellington, Davis, Black...but only for small short deals. No to all the rest, got to find a way to get rid of Young, he's just not Laker material. When a team is this bad you need to clean house, what appears to be some solid play is a mirage on a awful team.If they do their homework and make good picks in the draft like last year that's 4 guys on rookie deals to fill out the roster for the dearly departed...lol, and sign some mid level FA's like Danny Green, and Chris Middleton.

    Davis
    Jabari (maybe because he'll be cheap and because I've liked what ive seen thus far despite it only being 10 days or so)


    These are the players I would like to see on the team again, but if contracts are too bad then I'm fine if some have to go. But from a teammate and improving standpoint I want the guys I listed above back with us.
