Hey everyone, Its almost Summer once again, and as a part of our continuing effort to improve and advance as a forum, Id like to hear why you choose to come to LB for Lakers discussions and news? In particular, let me know about anything you especially like that we can control, like the look/style of the forum, speed, user interface, etc... Especially if you weren't a migrant from Club Lakers, what made you stay with LB the first time you came here? This kind of information will give us more direction in how to improve the forum
I come here mainly to collect material on members so that I can make my diss tracks. You get one, you get one... And I don't even know you like that, but you can have one too. Y'all bunch of peasants that don't want this type of heat! Nah, but seriously, I come here cause there's good folks here that help me expand my love for the Lakers...plus the pay is good. Just outta curiosity, how much Barnes pay y'all?
I just love that I can come here and get opinions, strategy and breakdowns from intelligent fans who know what they are talking about. There are plenty of forums out that have opinions galore but that gets so tiring after a short time. More than anything this feels like a family of Lakers fans in a way with so many of us coming from Club Lakers. You know it is when you start to anticipate what someone is going to say on a topic and it comes to forwishen. I enjoy the comedic relief some of our posters like @alam1108 and @Savory Griddles just to name a few bring to this site as well. I also appreciate of all of our MODs and to you @Barnstable for making this a place that's always looking to improve while keeping us in the loop. As great as ClubLakers was that part was lacking tremendously in those areas which eventually led to its downfall. There aren't many forums, communities out there where you can have great, constructive talks about the CBA in its current state and how the Lakers contracts and such can come together to form a team that we like and support.
I second this... Plus, I love reading OX's sardonic view of the NBA, Julius Randle and the world. Finally, I love Cookie's brand of humor. Her commentary in the Doomsday thread always makes me chuckle!
I was a lurker on another Lakers forum, never posted because it felt like everyone already knew each other and any new ideas/opinions got shat on. Then saw a post advertising LB as a new forum and I jumped over at once. Stayed because of the great discussions held here. More attacking the argument than attacking the other person. How I can step away for a day and come back to 10 new pages and all points argued thoroughly. Sirron's special sense of humor is great. Cookie's DOOM. Trodger's numbers. That "oh s***" moment when you see posts broken down into multiple quotes. How streamlined the site is, especially for posting pics and tweets. And especially just having a place to talk Lakers without having to flood my Facebook and annoy my friends.
The community is close knit, but at the same time very inviting and accepting of new members. Pretty level headed debates.
I am a life long Lakers fan and I’ve probably destroyed every relationship in my life regarding their willingness to discuss all things Lakers with me. So this site is 24/7 Lakers talk. Sort of like a crack house.

I came over from CL and it's been truly fantastic here, pun intended. Great to have this Laker community and a place to voice my opinion. I feel honored to be a mod and I'm thrilled to be here with you all!
Rational, intelligent, mature discussion. When you go around and read comments from places like Facebook, IG,...etc. and even LG, you find most of the time, it's from fairweather fans who don't carry too much knowledge with things like salary cap, trade rules, and general NBA logic. You can't reason with people like that. I come here and you get various points of view even though I think I may be right, and it gives me another perspective that I may not have thought about. Sometimes we agree, sometimes we don't, but one things tide and true here is the love for the team no matter what and you can't find that much else. Unless you're in the Gameday thread, that's another story! Ha!
Mature, intelligent discussions about all things Lakers. The diversity of ideas makes it special. If everyone sang the same song it would make for one dull message board.
