I like it. Way better than Dave Miller or that LA Times hack.

This season is just falling into place. I like all of these moves.

Fish is still one of my favorite Lakers of all time. I'm sure he'll have some great insight into the game and players.

I was obviously not for Fish back on the court, but with our media team, great, love it. Also, I like the change to Spectrum SportsNet. Much less of a mouthful than Time Warner Cable SportsNet.

Dave Miller was like an unbearable school teacher that you were forced to listen to everyday. Fish should be on the coaching staff.

I hate Fisher. He's not a good dude and a complete phony. He's also a terrible player who made big shots here and there......big shots that wouldn't have been needed if he was even remotely competent on the defensive end. Mike Bibby and Troy Hudson need to send that man 10% of all their earnings until they die.

I know this puts me in the vast minority here, but there's no way I can pretend to like the dude.

He made huge timely hustle plays not just big shots. He pulled our arses out of so many game endings just with his hustle, whether it was a late steal or dive for the loose ball. He got it done. He was a leader and a little guy enforcer (see avvy). The "One obvious good element of his game that wouldn't have been needed if he were better argument" is just tired and is overused on so many players that brought many elements to the game that don't always show up in the boxscore. Sure you can pick apart his individual talents but call him a phony? Phil and Kobe liked him, must've been one hell of a con man.

Yes, please explain "not a good dude" and "phony".

Otherwise, he was who he was on the court. Sure we could've had a much more talented player, but in the system, he was fit and fit damn well.
