It should have hurt him the first time. Seth is a freaking goldmine for Fox. He's rich as hell. He's the kind of guy with the power and influence to go toe to toe with Weinstein. For all those people who say that the little known actress doesn't have the power to go after a guy like Harvey, what's the excuse for Seth?

He's doing well, but he's not nearly as powerful as Weinstein. Weinstein was one of the cream of the crop. The only actor I heard who stood up to him successfully was Brad Pitt at the height of his power. Seth is doing quite well for himself, but he's no Brad Pitt. Seth is still a television actor right now.

Dude. Seth MacFarlane is the creator of Family Guy, American Dad, Cleveland Show, Ted 1 and 2. He has a net worth of 200 million. Guy has been more relevant than Weinstein for a while now.

Weinstein has produced 329 movies. Miramax. Won tons of Oscars. Probably, up until the article came out, the most powerful man in Hollywood. That's why people were afraid to cross him. He created careers and ended them. Often.

He wasn't the most powerful man in Hollywood anymore. His star had fallen. At one time through the 90's and 2000's he was one of the top 4-5 most powerful men in Hollywood. But in the last 5-6 years, he'd lost his golden touch. The new movie universe with tons and tons of indie films and the corporate nature of "indie" films made his unique set of skills (not the one's involving potted plants) hard to capitalize on. The reason this article came out was because he had lost the power and influence to stop it. For the last 5 years or so, MacFarlane has had enough power that if he wanted to, he could have blasted Harvey. I'm not saying his career accomplishments equal Harvey's or that he was more powerful. But he certainly had enough power that Harvey couldn't have done much had MacFarlane decided to blast him.

^^ I agree with that. His star has fallen. Unable to influence Oscars for his people and movies like he used to. And Seth had enough power to do something. But a lot of others did too. Even in his inner circle, like Clooney, Affleck, and Damon.

He'd lost ground in the studios, sure, but his connections within the DNC were another part of his power. Just look at Rose McGowen now suddenly has a warrant out for her arrest on drug charges for a bag she allegedly left in the airport. Gee the timing of that isn't convenient at all.

Seth's power is on the rise, he can be the hero Hollywood needs but that'd effectively end his rise. The people who are carrying him are the ones he'd be a threat to. Is it worth it for him on a personal level?

Corey Feldman has long said his buddy Corey Haim was raped by a famous Hollywood actor when he was a teen. The latest news is that it was Charlie Sheen who raped him (statutory rape) on the set of Lucas.

Also, a newscaster from OKC says her son was molested by Kevin Spacey and that it was about 2 years ago and that they went to the police and made a report. No idea where the investigation went.

On the positive side, Spacey has been dropped from House of Cards, and I believe just today he was replaced by another actor on a pretty big film. I think he had already shot most of his part, so they’re going out of their way to recast and reshoot the role. Maybe things will finally start to turn around, maybe people will stop getting away with these things just because they’re famous and have money.

It's Ridley Scott's next movie called "All the Money in the World" and it's slated for release on the 22nd of December! They're going to re-shoot all of Spacey's scenes and re-cut the movie in a month! They're going through an incredible process in order to cut him from the film which is both impressive and intriguing. My buddy is a Ridley Scott fan so he says it's a sign the movie is great and therefore they want to save it. I think Scott is just desperate (either altruistically or practically) to get away from Spacey and this controversy. I don't think it necessarily bodes well for the film at all and could in fact hurt it greatly.

George Takei is the latest to be accused.

The story seems like a he-said-(s)he-said type of thing... The scenario Brunton gives really seems like he could have just gotten too drunk. He went up to the man's room voluntarily to have drinks. It's very possible that he got too drunk and gave Takei the wrong impression. If both were drinking, it could have been a drunk incident/accident.

I read a lot about recently about big tech companies wanting to make movies. Are all these revelations happenning because they will lawyer up the press if the studios attack them?

I did find his initial comments on Weinstein soft, but maybe he's too nice to say what needs to be said.
