Adios, Zu. You seemed untouchable for a few weeks...long ago.
I like the signing. I mean he's old and nowhere near what he used to be, but in limited minutes I think he'll fill our need. Plus, I'm of the opinion that he's still a better option than what we currently have.
With his free throw percentage in the 50’s and 60’s, he will fit right in.
Ok, Magic I like it. Yell at Luke to light a fire, then immediately go out and get him what he needed.
probably what magic did. he yelled at Luke in excitement that he got Luke a competent back up big and said "there! no excuses now!"
Well, haven't you heard; he is volatile...
LOL what I called Zen in Game Time the other night.
Who is this "Zen" you speak of..? Blocked him a long time ago,, The script is Old.
I don't believe in blocking.
even if get my a** kicked occasionally. Only on message boards though.
Best one word post I've read in a while.
assuming he can still bring it for 15mpg, it's a no-brainer. i was suggesting we try to move deng for him a while back, so i've been on board. he's barely hanging on, but so are we at the c spot.
edit: btw, his offcourt impact might be as important as his on-court production. he's won, and he's been around. it will be good to have that voice/presence.
Luke should have brought up Randle to Magic, haha
Boy was this needed.
I like Williams, but he's a rookie. He can not be relied upon. Same with Moe.
I didn't think I'd be saying this 3 years ago, but by by and good riddance to you Zu
At this point the mentorship would be for both Wagner and Williams. Zu's ship I'm afraid has come and gone.
Some quick On/Off numbers for him last season.
This is also huge
Another thing I like about this is it shows the FO is active in trying to make us better right now if the opportunity presents itself. They could have continued to sit back and hope the team rights itself, but we have a huge need right NOW, so there isn’t time to waste, and it looks like we are addressing it. It was a mistake not to add size in the summer, it was baffling to let Lopez walk, but hey, you learn from your mistakes, you don’t stubbornly try and keep forcing what isn’t working.
You know who would be the happiest guy if we sign Chandler?
Great point, haha
