I'm totally surprised. Wow, didn't see this coming. Isn't it all about power trips?

Why do we even have TSA? It's such a cluster at the airport, taking off shoes and belts and everything else. I'm fine with a metal detector and have some bomb sniffing dogs nearby and checking luggage, but IMO, TSA are a waste of money. I'm not in favor of the full body scans either.

More to the point, I agree with T. It's a power trip. You give these people who have no formal education (for the job at least) and they have absolute power over you. Then, when that's not enough, they start groping and making games out of it. Several years ago I was on a 3 week vacation from England. While in the states, we traveled a lot and shopped a lot. I put all my spare change in a pocket in my backpack. When I went through TSA checkpoint, I got scolded for too much change (I didn't know there was a limit) and to not do it again. LOL I probably had $30 in loose change. It's not like I was collecting pennies to melt down into a copper house. I just looked at them like, "is that it? I gotta go. Peace!" (Boys n the Hood reference)
