I though re-signs don't count against the cap per se.

Math is wrong then. I'm by no means a cap expert. So we still have about 45 million left I assume?

With him it won't because he's restricted. Technically if we sign him last (now that we've agreed on a number) the only thing that counts against us for now is his 2.7 million dollar cap hold.

edit- I'm wrong. Pincus says he costs about 11 million to the cap. My bad guys!

So. The guy had a cyst, not freaking micro fracture on his knee and it didn't heal well but he manned up with grit and came back too soon and the team let him and it was made worse. Injury number one plus injury number two, a strained shoulder. So his season this year understandably fell off. But just a year ago this 7'1" bruiser with great hands, moves under the basket, plays defense and rim protects, pretty nice jumper, beast at P&R, stuff everything when possible, with other shots in repertoire, who runs the floor well ..... that is in Part 1 and Part 2 clips above, playing as a starter on a championship capable Cavs team, with playoff experience and a locker room guy ...... is the same guy that many people are slitting their wrists over, for the good contract given to him in a position of great need for us?

    LMFAO

Welcome to L.A. Timmy .... here's to you being healthy again in 2016-17.

You can say whatever you want, but a player who averaged 6pts and 4rebs last season doesn't deserve 16 mil. He would have agreed on much less I recon.

That's a very narrow and really silly way to look at it. THE GUY WAS NOT HEALTHY. How many times does that have to be said? HE WAS BROUGHT BACK TOO SOON. The Cavs screwed them. When healthy he was a really good starting center.

I'm not so sure. Noah was in the same boat and got 72 million. We'll see where the other guys land. I think you're going to be surprised by what happens out there. This contract is going to look very reasonable when everything is said and done.

My point being- professional athletes are waaaay overpaid- baseball, NFL, basketball, even tennis. It's quite disgusting...
Of course we all hope Mozzy will get back his health back, give us his top game 10+7 and some D...

Did you watch all of Part 1 and Part 2 clips above? He's our Bogut and fairly skilled 7'1" banger who's a beast on P&R, whether he passes as well or not. He's going to be great for Zubacca to learn from as well. You think Luke and Shaw don't know him well or think they can use him?

Didn't know he could put up performances like this. I guess I feel a little better.

So 16 and 11 is 27 and that's about $33 left on the cap? Well there goes my idea. Unless you talk Horford down to $18 and then split $25 between Baze, Evan, and Ryan/Pau.

Which seems unreasonable. Maybe you could do $19 or $20 and try and sign the others to $7 as much as possible.

That 93 point game by Mozgod was really understated and not given enough publicity. Goes to show the bias against white NBA players. Kobe scores 81 and he overshadows the Superbowl, Mosgod scores 93, it's just another news day.

This signing is f***ing terrible. Mozgov is trash. Cavs fans hated him. Great move FO. One step closer to being fired.
