Assuming they can provide a stable stream...

More diversiy of announcers. Announcers for beginners, jock sniffers, hardcore hoop fans.. etc

Less drama narrative bs because it's not on a 24 hour tv channel...

I would love to cancel my cox cable. Only thing keeping me is the Lakers!

I actually did cancel and planned on using the stream via my Dad's cox account. But man. Football on streaming just isn't cutting it yet.

I'm very close to cutting cable too but damn I love having my options. and you are right - for the most sport streaming still has some work to do at least when it comes to live sports

Yeah. Live football was killing me. I have the second highest speed Cox offers (which is plenty high enough), and Hulu Live TV still looked bad. If a player was even jogging, he had a little "pixel halo" around him. I also got frozen screens way too often. Then I'm left fast forwarding ahead because I'm now 30 seconds behind. What's frustrating is I know the speed is there to do it almost perfect. I think the internet companies (which are often the cable companies) are throttling it.

So I watched the Thursday night football on Amazon Prime yesterday which I didn’t even know they were streaming every week and for me it looked pretty good. No glitches, was high def and everything. I think they’d do pretty good with NBA games too but I think Turner and Disney got the lockdown on that for a bit.
