    I've been told by those in the know that a $250k house in NJ carries a $12k per year property tax bill while a $650k house there carries a $36k per year property tax bill. Compare that with California equivalent and for once, Cali doesn't look bad. Awful lot of money available for corruption.

    PS Think an urban legend is still making the rounds that claims that Jimmy Hoffa is buried underneath the Meadowlands stadium.

    Wow, that’s High!

    For most, that would be difficult to handle in retirement. So if you have a $650k home, the taxes alone are $3k a month?

    That more than a motgage would be. That can’t be right can it? That would make renting a home basically impossible.
