Honestly I don't care too much either way if this move did happen, I'm just expecting it to at this point.

I just don't see where he fits here. Taking away minutes from BI and Kuz? Makes no sense.

I see zero reason for us to get him...ZERO

If we actually get Melo...I might throw a chair through my window.

Don't fall for it, Maginka! Don't effing do it!!!!

nah, f*** 'em. beasley might help them. make them cut melo. there's a reason they've been avoiding it. don't bail them out.

in the sad event he's a laker, a cut melo is more motivated than a traded melo.

Watch him be a Sheed. Former all star no one wanted. Didn't work out in Atlanta. Detroit picked him up and....we know the rest.

Larry Brown was the coach though. One of the best to ever do it.

Dare I say it, but is it time to kick the tires on Carmelo with Lebron being out?

    forget melo and parsons.

the sheed comparison is way off, imo. sheed was still in his prime, and his mind was the problem, not his body. melo's cooked physically and has more miles on him than sheed did. quite frankly, i saw the sheed trade's implications at the time. couldn't believe det got him for chucky atkins and change, despite all his issues.

no minor add is going to fix this team's non-contention. we need another lebron-level acquisition, by any means necessary. melo (or parsons) isn't even a step in that direction. a trade for a second-tier star is, though.

So....would melo have helped this god awful offense with LeBron out right now?

I ccan't believe I'm even entertaining the idea of Melo right now...

I was always against it, but at this point... he would not make us worse. If there is one guy in this league that can keep him humble and under control is Bron. Seriously, he can revive his career in a way IMO, and by “revive” I mean get him to play team ball. But if someone expects him to contribute with significant stats... it’s not going to happen. He can’t produce more than Ingram. But he can hit FTs.
