Wow, I assumed that video was of the highlights because it was only 6 something minutes. Man, Gustofson didn't have a chance.

I think cormier annihilates Gus as well.

I think there are two reasons that Gus gave Bones fits. He is an excellent striker when it comes to distance and getting in and out which bones loves to do too, and he is actually taller than bones. But against Rumble and DC those attributes don't necessarily impact the fight the same way. Both Rumble and Johnson are used to fighting taller fighters and both like to get in the pocket and fight in the box if you will. I think DC wouldnt do as well as Rumble did, but I think he wins and probably finishes Gus too.

As for Rumble and Jones I think the its the most intriguing channel for Jones yet. Rumble has nightmare power and is simply bull strong. I don't think he is going to sit back and let Bones settle into his rhythm and will push the fight much like he did to Gus and well everyone else lately. And I honestly think that this will be difficult for Bones to handle. Remember Rumble was seconds away from putting away Arlovski in the first, but AA was saved by the bell. If you havent seen that fight google it and watch Johnson stand and trade with AA, its impressive. I don't know if that translates to a win for Rumble, but I think it will be interesting to see what happens.

totally agree. cormier was able to get in the phone booth with Jones and landed some nice uppercuts, though they lacked much pop. I don't see why rumble couldn't get in also, but his shots will have tons of pop.

I worry about Jone's head right now. He needs to get far away from this controversy (and the cocain) before he even thinks about getting back into the ring. Jone's confidence might be his biggest weapon. He's much easier to take down without it IMO.

I can see Rumble taking Jones out. I would be rooting for him to do so.

That last fight was crazy. I thought it was highlights too, but it really was just that easy...

Things getting interesting in MMA again!

Thoughts on Silva? He won handily last night over Diaz, who claimed after the fight he felt he won every round. LOL

I think he's gonna retire. IMO, the greatest MMA fighter ever. Nice to see him come back, even though I was pulling for the Diaz upset.

Anderson's gonna retire, IMO. That's why he was so emotional. He just needed to come back to prove it to himself after the injury. When you kid's begging you to stop, you stop.

I think he retires. Good, solid fight and now he can go out on top. Why keep going? He's got no reason to continue this.

Silva seemed like he was tired and wanted to lose when Wideman beat him. In fact, I think the only reason Wideman beat him in the first place was because Silva was acting like he didn't care just tempting fate. I only think Silva came back because he didn't want to go out on a loss, but he's not his old self mentally anymore.

He's just been fighting for so long at the highest level, it could wear on anyone. He just needs to go out as the best ever and with a win IMO.

Silva tested positive for steroids. Diaz tested positive for weed. Jones for cocaine a month ago.

Not good for the UFC. Not sure how Diaz test should matter -- surely didn't help him prepare for the fight or give him any type of advantage.

Diaz does what Diaz does, Jones has shown signs that he is out of control from sometime, but Silva thats the most disappointing, he should have just hung it up after breaking his leg.

Yup. Silva tested positive; CSAC just came out and said that PED usuage in MMA isn't has bad as what it's being made out to be; FWIW. They need more random testing in the sport. Either way, just watched the Mir-Silva fight the other day, and it sucked. In fact that whole card was a disappointment. Waiting for the Aldo-McGregor fight.

I'm really excited for the Rhonda / Cat fight. I have no idea which way it'll go.
