I'm just not excited for that fight at all. I have no interest in Lesnar. I'm not sure what fight I'd pay to watch with DC right now.

And are we going to touch on Ngannou cracking completely?

I actually had no interest in watching the matchups, and just caught the highlight of the DC fight on youtube. Sounds like he disappointed and didn't live up to the hype. Shocker!

Ngannou was afraid to get hit and wouldn't throw a punch. It was wildly embarrassing for him and for the UFC frankly.

This is the problem with the UFC today. They have so over saturated the market that many of the cards are just flat underwhelming and in addition to this guys are afraid to go out their and risk losing. It has become more advantageous to not lose than go out and get a win. I really wish they would cut the number of ppvs and have better cards. I get the need for more feeder shows, but who is paying for a ppv 1-2 times a month?

How about Might Mouse getting dethroned?

Garbrandt looks done to me. TJ is just a better and smarter fighter. Garbrandt walked into the same exact punch that knocked him out the first time. The extra length on TJ's punches is the difference, but Garbrandt cant solve how to beat that.

Khabib/McGregor is going to be fun but I have a feeling it could be over quickly. Those two are too explosive.

Cody can't take out the emotion when he fights TJ, he just goes for the one hit KO and leaves himself very open to counters.

This just shows that TJ was right to leave that camp.

To be honest I think that whole "leaving the camp" thing is stupid anyway. TJ has every right (and really a responsibility) to travel and learn more. If you want to be great at something, you need to see everything. Staying in one camp and only doing their methods is a good way to get beat. The only thing weird about it is he should have been clearer that he wanted to look around.

My gut says McGregor. Khabib tends to walk into punches and so far he's handled it well, but no one can walk into McGregor and stay conscious. That being said, if Kahbib can get Conor to the ground, it is over. I've never seen anyone so natural mauling people on the ground.

I watched some of Bellatore last night. The Prodigy (stealing the nickname from BJ) looks really good as a striker. I haven't seen him grapple or wrestle, but his striking is next level.

Long layoff for McGregor is not in his favor though. Khabib has looked relentless. If McGregor doesn’t take him out, not sure he can hold him off.

I dont disagree at all. If Conor cant land that left, he is in big trouble. This to me is a coin flip on who takes it, I lean McGregor because I've seen him do it to top level opponents (Aldo, Alverez come to mind). Khabib hasnt faced this level of striking.

However if Khabib gets Conor down, he can end the fight fast and I expect him to.

This fight isn't lasting more than 3 rounds. It's KO or a TKO inside 3 rounds.

Fight didn't go quite the way people thought, but the last two fights of the night were pretty darn good.

Crazy fight....why Khabib lost his s*** after dominating is beyond me.

Impressed that Conor got out of that 2nd the way he did, but damn cash them checks and go live your life bruh....Khabib is an animal, you don't want that type of heat.

Ending up on his feet almost turned it around. That would have been wild if he won. Now he has to be rethinking things. He fought well, but that's a rematch that would definitely sell well.

These dudes are both 30, so a part 2 is inevitable cause the money would be insane. But till Conor proves otherwise, he gets gassed too quick and if his left ain't biting, part 2 ain't going to be any different.

The ending was what people were expecting, but the way they got there was slightly different.

The edge in the fight ended up being Khabib's stand-up. If you'd have told me that Khabib was going to stand in front of Conor for much of Round 3 and Conor wouldn't be able to land the big shot, I'd have had trouble believing you. Not just that, but the only knock down of the fight came from Khabib. Conor wasn't expecting that at all.

Khabib's ground game is just too ridiculous. His fight style is very similar to DC's and it's not exactly exciting, but it's going to win fights. For dedicated fight fans his grapple is gorgeous. I think Conor was prepared for the grappling as well he could, but there's no actual preparing for what Khabib can do.

The Waterson fight was good. The Derrick Lewis fight was interesting. The Furgeson fight was amazing.

And all that said, Khabib and his crew ruined it. I'll be surprised if he isn't suspended for at least a year. Jumping out of the cage? Jumping into the cage and assaulting a fighter after a loss? That's barbaric. That's not the sport. Did Conor take it too far in the pre-fight stuff? Maybe. That's why you whoop his *** in the ring. You did that. It's over. Have thicker skin.

The next fight should be Furgeson/Khabib and Conor/Diaz. I'd be surprised if Khabib fights again for a while though, so it may be Furgeson/Pettis 2 for the interim belt.
