Yes. And I haven't seen him run yet. :D But he looks chiseled and in shape so I'm making that assumption. I thought Mozgov was a little faster running the floor than Zu too last year.

Not a little, Mozgov was a better rim runner for sure than Zubac. And by "better" I mean he was capable of running that distance in a reasonable time frame for his size.

I believe Lopez won't be rim running that much because of his shooting ability he'd make a great trail option.

So right now IMO these guys are locks.

    Lonzo
    SGs-KCP,Clark,Hart
    SFs-Ingram,Kuzma
    PFs-Randle,Nance,Deng
    C-Lopez,Zu,Bryant

Thats 12 players right there, then were gonna sign another PG so 13.

Done deal? Or yall think Bryant might not be safe?

You left out Brewer. At the KCP presser I believe Rob said we are 13 now and stated (the obvious) we are allowed 15 and they would look to finish the roster. I didn't know if he meant signing a PG and leaving one spot open, but it sounded like he meant signing 2 more guys, maybe not only 1 PG, but 2, as we are set at every other spot. Maybe Clark AND Ennis, or Rose AND Ennis if Ennis will take the minimum to stay in the league.

I sincerely doubt Ennis has much interest league wide. His numbers are pedestrian and he was the backup PG on a team that was tanking. He's really not very good. At 22 years old he's got some upside and he's one of those "young veterans" sort of like KCP since he's been in the league 3 years already on 4 different teams. I'm okay bringing him back, but I'd rather he be our 3rd string PG than our 2nd string. I like him and all, but he's simply not that talented. Ball is going to need time off at some point this season given his physical immaturity and propensity to get dinged up. Do we really want Ennis and Caruso as his primary backups when that happens?

I only suggested Ennis as a 3rd string PG as well, I'd hope for Clark as the backup.

I wouldn't mind it, but Clark is more of a SG than a PG.

Oh I hear ya. The backup PG spot is not our strength right now at all and there's not much out there. It's partly why I was okay with the Rose rumors and even the Rondo rumors. I'll live with whoever they bring in, but it's going to be a sore spot for sure if/when Lonzo takes some time off.

We're offering the same deal as Cleveland for Rose, just more money. I guess it comes down to if he wants to be a backup/mentor here for a team rebuilding, or get more playing time if Kyrie is traded (and a better guard than Rose isn't in the deal) and make the Finals over there.

This Kyrie situation has definitely thrown a wrench in the works. I'm sure Rose went to ask them what they're planning. I'm betting they move Kyrie for a wing which would open up plenty of time for Rose. If not, then I think Rose picks the Lakers. The rumor is he's looking for a stable environment after the catastrophe in NY so the Cavs may not be a slam dunk.

Damn Brewer always getting lost in the sauce lol. If we add Brewer were already at 13 without new signed PG so that means Bryant IMO goes to the G-League.

Youre allowed to carry 13 players in a regular season game but 1 has to be deactivated.

To bring up Rose whose meeting up with the Cavs again today.. Rose is a low key kinda guy. I honestly think the more money, playing time,Lakers hype and everyone jumping to support him(Create positive press going into next year, especially if we scrap to make playoffs) can be enough to get it done.

Reason why i say so is Cavs gonna in the media every effing day with constant Kyrie and Lebron trade talks(Or Lebron walking),tension between them etc. So we got a great shot IMO cause Magic and Rob pretty much going over the stuff i did in my previous paragraph along with Cavs are no lock to beat Boston and even if they do get spanked by GSW who will be better next year.

That crossed my mind as well, the stable environment. If it's a 1 year deal the stable environment part probably isn't as big a thing, but stil, Cavs are a mess. Windhorst said on SportsCenter he heads Phoenix is the team that is most interesting for the Cavs, would they part with Bledsoe and Jackson. If so that still leaves Bledsoe as probably the better guard, with both he and Rose equal injury risks.

If im the Cavs and possibly thinking im losing Lebron next year..you think im trading him for JJ and Bledsoe?

I dont do it,I give Kyrie the Kobe treatment. You dont wanna go from to stars to question marks. And Rose has averaged 65 games last 2 years. Bledsoe played in 66 last year so next year is a ?

Our bench has done pretty good with Clarkson running the point, led the league when we had Lou Wil. He's got Kuzma, Nance, Brewer, Hart and Zu to run with and pick up the scoring loss of Williams. Maybe we can pick up some of the difference by playing D too. We're deep enough at PF I don't think Deng will ever get to get out of the gimp box in the basement.
