This team is proving to be thoughtful, intelligent, and progressive. I love what they're doing and I love that it doesn't stop with a knee, a seat, or a gesture. It continues into an active effort. Fantastic.

It's more of coordinated act that won't be misinterpreted as grandstanding... Agree that the players put more care into their opinions.

The fact that they're holding scrimmages between police and youth in the area is what impresses me the most. Gestures are great to get people talking. What is being done about it now? There's plenty of athletes that have thrown their hat in this ring and that's okay. What are they doing to solve the problem? Getting police and their communities together even just to play basketball is a great step in the right direction to bridging the perceived gap.

Definitely... The NBA players are more pro-active in their approach as opposed to just voicing their protests. They are uniting instead of dividing factions.
