Dallas was a great landing spot for him. Also keep in mind this is glorified pick up and he's probably the best athlete on the floor at any given time. I'm not sure there's much that can be done in these situations. Still, it was never his talent that was the question. I always wanted to see him play more like this than what he showed in college.
If he had gone to another team I would be considered because a lot of his question marks are his attitude and willingness to get better. But with the Mavs and their head coach along with a few great veteran in Dirk and Barnes I think it will be a great fit. They will maximize his potential.
