    That's why I was pissed off that so many fans didn't want Rondo last year when there were rumors of him joining us. He's the perfect player- coach for this team and still very effective player

    Anyone who watched his remarkable playoff run last season with NO should have known better though. He's been rejuvenated in winning situations, which is great for us.

    He needs teammates to pass the ball to, that's all. And he needs students he can teach. :) This is a great situation for him actually, and so far he really "clicks" with Bron, Ingram and McGee.

    So the big off season move with Randle was Julius for Rondo in a trade essentially. Much as I wanted to see Julius stay .... bringing Rondo in was genius and basketball wise how he positively affects the play of the team compared to Randle it's no contest.

    I don't think he'd be the same play maker without the right type of players around him. That's no knock on him but we have many of the guys that he can make look good.
