Do we already have a good (bad) eats thread? I think it would be fun, and fine is very below fancy. A bottle of the near endangered Crystal Pepsi and a bag of Chicken & Waffles Lays. That one was a first description is accurate. It's very strong but I can't seem to keep reaching in the bag.

We had a great 5 Guys vs In n Out thread at CL. I was grossly outnumbered, but I still contend, 5 Guys >>>> In n Out. (it's not even close IMO)

I'm a foodie, so I'll be posting and reading this thread a lot. I'm not much on "snacks." Can't remember the last time I ate chips or any other snack item. My go-to food are sandwiches and burritos when I'm on the run. I miss California burritos so much! But.... we have Qdoba here and they are great for a chain.

As for drinks, I'm a Diet Coke fiend. I'm trying to stop and you wouldn't believe me if I told you how much I drink. I've recently started on Oolong Tea to help me with my addiction.

Ya know when they say if you think you might be crazy, but everyone else thinks you're not, you're probably OK? But then if everyone thinks you are crazy, but you maintain you're fine...you probably are bat s--- insane?

    Yeah.

Whataburger kills both, but that's mostly a Texas thing. I almost never eat chips and only drink soda when CP is in stock (69g sugar yikes!) I eat fairly healthy and once in a while I cook something a bit fancy.

Try and post your plates and recipes, if you want. I love to try different food.

We've got Whataburger here in OKC. They have good patty melts and the best ketchup known to man, but 5 Guys >>>>> Whataburger.

That's what I'm here for :) at the other board, I was creating games and such in the offseason. There was all player fantasy draft where we snake drafted teams of 12, put them in a playoff tree, and everyone voted by round til we had a winner. Might have to try it come July. Anyway, that's one example. Looking forward to seeing everyone's cuisine.

You're been cool, and I think we somewhat align politically, so I'll let that blasphemy slide.

Five Guys is delicious and will consistently make me feel physically ill.

In-n-out is delicious and makes me feel good in my soul.

    Never tried a Whataburger.

If you want a burger to make you sick with soulful, awful deliciousness I eat one Tommy's chili burger every couple years when I want to hurt myself.

I live 10 minutes from 5 Guys. If I'm lucky and hit green lights all the way home, I have 2 minutes to spare before I destroy the bathroom.

This is my kinda thread, I eat way too much junk food, heck way too much food in general. In N Out and 5 Guys are different, I wouldn't necessarily say one is better than the other, I can name great things and negatives about each. I do believe the quality of In N Out has dropped a little over the years, costs go up, certain things seem a little less tasty. I prefer everything on an In Out Burger (bun, sauce, tomatoes, onions/grilled onions) to 5 Guys except the meat, which counts for a lot. I don't like thin, well done burger patties. And I prefer 5 Guys fries to In N Out, which if you don't eat within 10 seconds turn into ice cubes. 5 Guys fries, regular or cajun, are fantastic, while the appeal of In N Out's seems to mostly be the plainness of them and the special sauce you can dip them in.

There's a Tommys near my cousin's house... He loved it before he had a healthy issue. He hankers for it once it awhile. Tried but never got the appeal of it.

The naked taco is gross. That quesarito was very good, but way too big.

This thread has devolved into a junk food a club, so I'm going to have it cook some veal or filet to class it up a bit lol.
