Who ya got? Let's go Mavs. I want to see Coward get used and abused. Maybe the refs won't let Harden go to the line every trip down the court.
Mavs in 6. I don't think Harden can get to the line enough to win a series. Of course if he does then Rockets in 5
Mavs, Carlisle will outcoach McHale. If the Rockets win this series it will be the refs and the league on an agenda to thrust Harden into the Superstar category.
Hmm...I have to agree with wcsoldier81. Carlisle is a much better coach than McHale. I also happen to think Rondo does a decent job on Harden, and I'm assuming Rondo will get that assignment. Dirk has been playing really well too. Tyson will probably do a decent job on Dwight. I think Mavs match up fairly well against them. Still, Rondo has not meshed at all with the Mavericks. Parsons has not played in 2 weeks because of his knee injury, and who knows how he'll look when he's back? They've been playing .500 ball for the past 2-3 months. Mavs just have not looked that good so... Rockets in 6.
parsons won't be 100%, and he's quietly been their best player this year. pair that with their problems defending the three and harden getting the 2006 wade treatment, and SA/clips need to be getting prepared to pound the rockets in round 2.
Mavs need Ellis to torch Houston, which is very possible. Rondo needs to up his play, but not to the point to where he's an attractive option for LA. Parsons needs to suck it up and stick it to his former team. I want Chandler to block everything D12 puts up. And hopefully Dirk can have a swan song against those bums.
More than the Flippers? There are only two teams I don't want to see ever win, the C bags and The Flippers. I don't like the Rockets either, but they're more pretender's than contenders anyways.
-Lebron leaves for Miami. Gilbert writes a crybaby letter. -Lakers trade for CP3. Gilbert writes a crybaby letter, getting the trade vetoed. -Gilbert is gifted 3 #1 picks in 4 years despite incredible odds, all to fit into the preconceived narrative of Lebron coming home to make things right. -Wade and Bosh start to show their age as Miami's window closes for Lebron. Time to begin phase 2 of "operation coming home" now that Gilbert has his draft picks developed (Kyrie) and to trade (wiggins/Bennett) to give Lebron his ready-made team. -Lebron "comes home" because it's not about winning, it's about making things right with his home town. (sarcasm) Enemy #1 should be Cleveland, IMO. F*** that turd, Gilbert, that douche Lebron, and the league for seemingly orchestrating this "coming home" narrative for the past 3-4 years.
They also had a #4 pick, so the one year in FOUR they didn't get the #1 pick... They got the #4 pick. I mean really. The odds are astronomical. Actually just to clarify: 2014- #1 (odds of getting the pick 1.7%)-->finished with the 9th worst record 2013- #1 (odds of getting the pick 15.6%)-->finished with the 3rd worst record 2012- #4 (odds of getting the pick 23.8%)-->finished with the 3rd worst record 2011- #1 (odds of getting the pick 2.8%)--> this was the Clippers pick who finished with the 8th worst record 2011- #4 (odds of getting the pick (19.9%)-->finished with the 2nd worst record Those 2011 and 2014 odds are pretty f***ing steep once. Twice is almost undoubtedly collusion. Three times is absolute collusion there's nothing anyone can tell me that will change my mind on it.
agreed with everything you said, Punk...but my Cleveland hate is on pause during the 1st round..i have older hate that trumps that
Cuban is probably thinking Wade circa 2006 all over again except this time Harden gets all the calls. I have Mavs winning in 6
I'm just hoping that these Rockets, much like my rockets in Kerbal Space Program, crash and burn before they even leave the launch pad.
