This kid was unexpectedly waived I think the lakers need to pick this kid up. He's extremely athletic and young only just turned 22. He was dubbed as a star in the making by Suns fans, however he never got consistent playing time due to position. Is there anyone you guys interested that's been waived?

idk. read some Suns fans not losing sleep over this... apparently has no court vision, poor decision maker, can't shoot

Probably more interested in hearing a bit more about RJ Hunter though.

I disagree, I've watched him when he was in hs and college and the kid screams potential and crazy athlete. He's a tall Shannon Brown type athlete. I think i rather have him then mwp

if there's a guard analog to our concerns about randle, this might be one. impressive athlete, can handle, occasionally makes plays for others, questionable shot, questionable hoop iq.

No thanks! We don't need another Wesley Johnson on this team.

Hunter is a better opt due to shooting. He's older but Bos didn't have enough PT for him with all the guards they had. Archie has had opportunities, look at how often Bledsoe gets hurt and he never took those opportunities to shine like Booker did for example.

Man, wish we didn't pick up Metta so we could've grabbed RJ Hunter.

    What a waste of a 1st rounder.

been trying to tell folks for years that stockpiling mid to late first rounders makes zero sense. both phx and boston have had to do some unpalatable things recently due to the logjam that this creates. it's amazing that philly hasn't reaped some of these problems, but since they basically sign zero veterans, they'll always have roster space. what they don't have is development room, but they've been spared that due to the injuries. if all their guys stayed healthy, you'd have some big investments sitting on the bench.

all the pundits have been singing these teams' praises, but i don't think they're going to build long term winners this way.

now, boston DOES have bkn's likely top 3 pick next year, so that's pretty sweet...

yeah, but they'll need to move on that. lotto picks are like new cars--they lose a third of their value once they're made. plus, al horford is the league's third-highest paid player and is heading for the wrong side of 30. they need to use that pick to get another impact veteran prior to next year's draft. this requires said player becoming available in that time frame, though.

Good point. Boston is full of B-level talent. And Phoenix lucked out with Booker.
