    I think it was more like 3+. I joined CL in like summer 2006 to talk about Artest and I believe that thread was there, and then we got him in 2009.

    I'm fine waiting until this summer to make a run at PG. I most definitely want him though and knowing he wants to be a Laker just makes him that much more appealing.

    To justify having PG here, we have to move for another star. Otherwise, he's going to be babysitting a bunch of kids, I don't think any of the talent we have will be viable now or in 2018.

    If we get PG, there will most definitely be subsequent moves to acquire another big name.

    For sure. It's what makes the pick so crucial. The pick can be the centerpiece of one deal with Ingram being the centerpiece of another. And as long as we use Blakc and Brewer's expiring K's in the deals to make sure salaries work, we should still have a max slot available.

    Well the pacers have to figure out a way to beat Cleveland and Boston in order to be considered anything in the East, the only piece they have to trade is Myles Turner, but then what? It looks like plan b is inevitable :) I think Bird knows his best chance for the pacers franchise is to not let PG walk for nothing
