is giving up nearly 117 points a game through 5 games

How do you improve it knowing we spent most of training camp working on it?

Well, it doesn't help with Wesley and Boozer being in the starting lineup to start the game. Boozer got benched last year because he couldn't play any type of defense and Wesley is an idiot. So, when you have two guy out there that are complete liabilities on that end of the floor, you're not off to a very good start. The only way we improve is if we make changes to the starting lineup. Outside of that, this will be rinse and repeat much like last year.

Our offense isn't good enough to score 118 a game, that's for sure.

I agree, who do you start instead though?

Davis instead of Boozer? That sounds like bad spacing issues on offense. .

At the 3? We don't really have options. We could slide Kobe over and play Xavier if he's healthy. Ronnie Price is a great defender off the bench but I don't think he can start. The only feasible option might be Swaggy but that's 5 weeks away at least, and I still don't know how he, Kobe, and Lin coexist on offense.

Lin, Ellington, Kobe, Ryan (when he gets healthy), Davis. Bring Wes & Booz off the bench. Whatever. This team stinks.

Boozer and Wes are net negatives on both sides of the floor. That bball breakdown video also really just emphasized how much they suck on defense.

Yes to anybody in place of Boozer.

I don't think it'll be that big of an issue, especially since Boozer don't make his jumpers anyway.

I think Lin kind of implied how he is used to playing with bigs that like to finish around the paint. Think Chandler/Dwight. He said that it's been different coming here and playing with bigs that like to stay back and shoot the ball. One thing I remember about Lin's drives in the past is how he likes to dump the ball to the bigs. I guess it's easier for him to see/pass the ball to a big that's in close proximity (Chandler/Dwight) whereas Hill or Boozer are kind of behind him during his drives. (This is just complete speculation based on what he said)

Yeah I saw that b-ball breakdown video. Wes is just not a basketball player. He doesn't have a basketball brain.

@RandleROFY I don't think Kelly is a starter. At the 4 he'd get murdered by the Milsaps and Randolphs of the league.

We don't have the personnel to defend .

One thing I've noticed for a while is boxing out doesn't exist on our team ... this could be corrected

Start Ellington and Kelly for better offensive spacing ... they can't be worse than Wes and Boozer on D ..

Umm, and Boozer isn't? We're going nowhere this season. If you plan on starting Davis, Hill, there are spacing issues galore. Hill hasn't shown the consistency in knocking down that mid-range shot, yet. If he does starting doing with regularity, then I'm all for starting Davis/Hill. If not, start Kelly. He's no worse than Boozer. Trust me. Also, we won't have the spacing issues. Another shooter will benefit Kobe and Lin...
