We talking Dodgers baseball here too ... in L.A.?
i think they have EVERYTHING
the thing is theyre not very good quality
im a cord cutter but when it comes to sports i need them in HD
for mlb i subscribe to mlb tv and for NBA im a ballstreams subscriber
the dodgers blkout was killing me but with mlb tv ive been able to watch every game
How do you get around the MLB TV blackout for Dodger games living in L.A. ???
I use adfreetime its $1.99 a month
"Region unlock enables you to access every Netflix region – regardless of where you live. It removes blackouts from NHL, NBA, MLB etc., and it enables you to access sites that are normally not available in your country"
It's well worth it.im gonna use it til the end of the season, cancel it and reup when the season starts again
Thanks, I may have to come back to you if I try and am having any problems. How much per month or for the season is MLB TV? Which do you set up first?
Thats fine but its very simple. You can either set up your router or just the device where you will be watching.
I did it thru my router so that the blackout doesnt affect me whether im watching on my phone/ipad/computer or tv
As for mlb tv, monthly i believe its 24.99 but i paid the 129 outright. Theres 2 prices one is $99 and you can only watch on computer/apple tv/ps3 etc and the 129 adds watching thru mobile devices
One thing if you're using a chromecast it gets a little tricky because the chromecast is hardcoded with google's dns so if you're gonna go thru with it i recommend watching thru apple tv/ps3/roku instead of relying on a chrome cast you'll also save $30 because you wont need the mobile devices
You can buyadfree time first. Set it up thru whatever device you will be using then buy mlb tv sign in and youre good to go
So is League Pass just as garbage as ever or have the "improvements" actually made a difference? I guess now that we're not on nationally televised games as much anymore I wouldn't have to worry about blackouts as much.
I've been able to see exactly 1 game on league pass so far and I live on the east coast. I joined this season because it looked like there wouldn't be that many balcked out games, but leage pass doesn't show games on NBA TV, and there are a lot o those, so I'm starting to feel jipped for the price.
That has always been my biggest complaint about league pass. NBA TV is basically a premium channel which a fair amount don't have and you have to pay extra for. If you have cable you automatically get TNT and ESPN so those games essentially count as nationally televised. Never agreed with NBA TV as nationally televised and yes Barnes, it is a rip.
Random info of the day...
Ballstreams, that size Wiz was talking about early in the season, did in fact get shut down and people lost money....
And Wiz was trying to make money off of you guys getting referrals, while eventually whoever signed up lost out on money.
Shady business tactics.
Yeah, bummer, paid for the year in advance
I'd do it again, given the chance
trodgers called it!!
Good riddance to that site and Wiz, but I feel sorry for anyone that paid money just to be ripped off.
What a complete ***hole. I went back to read the exchanges and boy does this site do better without that guy around.
I liked the service vs free streaming options because of the better quality, and I could always find the game on whether it was our announcers or theirs. It had an app to play on my ROKU device via my projector wirelessly, vs have to log onto my laptop, change connections, etc. Oh well, so sad. I would classify Wiz as your classic get rich type, and that is always trying to one up the system while avoiding personal growth. It was interesting to see, and I hope he is headed on a different path these days. I think that path leads to perpetual unhappiness.
so if I have espn, tnt and nba TV and am willing to pay, would you guys suggest I get league pass?
I live in NorCal so I cannot get timewarner or whatever it is called now a days.
^Will Laker games get blacked out on league pass in NorCal? They do in SoCal.
That's what I'm doing. I'm just doing the team pass.
Does anyone know a way to watch the full game again without having TWCSN or whatever its called now.
The best quality of streams I've seen is using a program called "ACE Stream" I just go to reddit.com/r/nbastreams and ctrl + f "Ace", copy that link, paste it into ACE Stream and boom the highest quality lowest lag stream I've ever had.
For watching already finished games, just need a torrent program https://thepiratebay.org/search/Lakers/0/3/0
So I just moved back to LA, and now I need to see the games of course.
I do not want to pay for a cable or TV package unless it's dirt cheap.
I don't even watch live TV at all, except for Lakers games, so what's the cheapest way to get HIGH QUALITY HD live games? I've done all the free sites online, and I don't want to deal with the crappy quality anymore.
So what's the cheapest option for watching HIGH QUALITY HD Lakers games?
Roku? Sling? Something else?
