i actually use xbmc but the streams on sportsdevil are not good quality.

the reason ballstreams is appealing to me is because i'd be getting hd streams like league pass and im able to watch on my xbmc, on my phone, tablet and on my computer :)

i dont have cable so its a no brainer for me, i literally use xbmc for EVERYTHING LOL, its even installed on my phone tablet and mac lol, and i use a raspberry pi with xbmc on my TV's

Im with you jerryr I dont have cable, we use netflix, hulu, and supplement with XBMC(which I have on raspberry pi and a HTPC). You should install Mashup and check out some of the live sports channels, some are near HD quality.

All of these streams bombard me with pop ups and try to download things. Are there any that just work without all that crap?

What he said. I just enable scripts that stream video content and block everything else, including ads.

I installed adblock, that worked! THanks guys, glad I got to watch the game, especially since the Lakers won for a change!

couple of other streaming sites I don't see listed:

    http://atdhe.ru/

    http://www.vipbox.eu/

vipbox usually works well for me. The quality of the video may not be the best at times, but I guess that's the price you pay for free streaming

Just got the ballstreams for a year.

Watched the Lakers-Suns game again.... loving the dvr skipping 30 seconds, 2 minutes or whatever you want, and really clear too.

Gotcha, maybe ill get around to trying that out one of these days. Just sucky at times when you expand the windows to full screen the quality gets worse, so ive pretty much been putting the ghetto touch of manually zooming in on the page to where I think its best without losing too much quality lol.

I'm in a similar boat - no cable and I mooch of my roommates Netflix account, which he mooches off of his family.

What is XBMC? Why would one download a program to stream if its possible to direct stream via the web? I am completely uninformed on media programs so just trying to learn here.

Xbmc now known as Kodi allows you to organize all your existing media as well as access and stream all kinds of media, live and otherwise, through a slick and well organized interface that lets you avoid the clutter and hassle of most streaming sites. You need to install the right third party addons to do it though. I'm not sure if its ok to go into that sort of thing here so I wont. If you want more info let me know via pm.
