How do you take 68 threes, and get 36 free throws? How does that math add up? Meanwhile we shot 37 threes, and got 30 free throws. You can’t play defense on Harden, you’re not allowed, you can’t look at the guy wrong. This is not NBA basketball, it’s a sham and a joke and embarrassing that it’s allowed to continue, and not only allowed but encouraged and rewarded. If the Rockets with Harden and ‘Antoni ever win the title I truly believe it will be the end of the NBA as we know and love it. It will take an entire generation to come along that collectively hates this style to start playing in the post again and such, rebel against this style and go back to a more oldschool game because they enjoy that more. And that’s a huge maybe, because kids are growing up right now watching this basketball and thinking this is how the game should be played, and colleges aren’t discouraging it either as they continue to change to be more like the NBA.

When I saw a kid at the arcade at that mini-basketball game emulating Steph Curry shooting a free throw...

There has been a high degree of incompetency since 2011/2013 but the luck factor left the Lakers organization/team for a while too

To be successful , you need it .

    F****** moron.

All I wanted to see most of the 4th quarter and overtime was the ball in Kuzma's hands. More at the very least. But nooooo!!! Don't get it to the guy who's been on fire and can legitimately create shots that have a good chance of going in. Ride the hot hand. Look what he did the first half and the last game.

And the idiot announcers are slurping all over him because of this ability to draw fouls. Rather to be awarded fouls for just what you're saying. Like it's Kobe or Hakeem's back to the basket footwork.

I missed most of the 2nd half. Did we hold the lead ok?

Looks like the team fought pretty hard after losing Lonzo. Lots of growth going on even if it isn’t translating to wins.

Yeah. Right until the last off balance 3 point shot from E. Gordon with 2 seconds left to tie it up. It was back and forth though late in the 4th but we were kicking their a***s all game long. Losing Lonzo sucked though and didn't help. A lot of ball pounding then from Lance though he played well. And Ingram though he was making hard short Js and baskets in the 4th from the ball pounding.

This was a must win against a crap team.

Should have never blown it in regulation. That 3 given to Gordon was just terrible defense.

Golden State and James Harden are killing the game of basketball. Go to any AAU tournament and you the the same crappy style of play there too. You can’t blame the kids because this is what they see done at the highest level and being rewarded for it. I mean what do you do if can’t even breathe on these guys without a whistle being blown? It reminds me of the steroid era in baseball. Adam Silver really needs to address it this offseason.

in a game between houston and the lakers, ball goes out with a devastating ankle injury and not harden.

    there is no basketball god.

I dont mind teams shooting lots of 3s, i hate the refs who are calling foul for smalest contact, thats whats ruining the league...if you go to any court outside and if you find some nerds playing hoops even them wouldnt call those fouls...
It is realy hard to defend, thats why everyone is scoring 140p that would be news of the day before 10-15y, now even atl svores 140 sometimes.
I feel like it is insult to the past players,i could see players like vc or t mac scoring 30-35p easily...even michael redd or kevin martin scoring 30p.

Ball is pretty weak tbh. He still needs to continue to hit the gym and get stronger. Hopefully as he matures, injuries like this are less common, and have a quicker recovery time.
