A win but not entirely pleased with it... We had most of our core, Clips played a line-up of ???. This should have been a comfortable win. Maybe more due to a more hungry opponent comprising of players desperate to stick any where they go.

Winning players are born through winning.

And you either import ones that have already had that success or you try to win and thus make ones that you have now into them.

All the players we have come from winning programs. Otherwise they wouldn't be anywhere near the NBA.

So, we are the problem. Not the players.

Frustrating that we have not been able to see our true starting 5 on the floor together at all..
It's hard to gauge this Team's potential right now, cuz we haven't seen them play yet.

i agree; though i think we've seen enough to know that there's no reason to talk playoffs. the team is just so incredibly young. even solid development would probably mean a 30-win season.

    Blow it up!

No but really, we suck. Its the first game and half the team can't even bring the energy.
Luke is on thin ice with me right now. Say we spent training camp working on defense, sure doesn't look like it. No half court offense at all. Hell, our first possession the two players that touched the ball, Deng and Nance. WTF

Magic, Rob and Jeanie need to STFU and stop hyping this team. No Ingram is not going to be a 20ppg leader. No we are not going to compete every single game.

    Ugh, I hate this.

Terrible rotations, defense was nonexistent, starting Deng, playing Bogut, most of the guys acting like they didn't even want to be there...need I say more? Disgraceful opening game.

    Ingram isn't a 2 , Deng isn't a 3 and Randle is a much better player than Nance ...
I won't even discuss Walton absence of rotations in the 3rd .

We got screwed with Luke , period .

It is painfully obvious how much we will miss lou will and swaggy. We stayed close in so many games because of lou.
I know walton said he focused on defense and limited offensive sets, but wow, I saw no ball movement at all. One pass then jumpshot off the dribble, All night long.

First half was really hard to watch. Can tell guys have no real chemistry with each other and they don’t totally trust each other as well. One can hope this improves as the season goes on. Just really getting tired of being the Clippers damn punching bag.
