Feels like a missed opportunity considering our recent form.

Think how many players we lost by now though with only IT to balance it. Nance, Clarkson, BI, Hart and now Kuzma. We're really short our quality guys.

...and THIS is why I never want to hear that boo-hoo s**t about other teams' injury woes. Well, except that second best team record wise in the East. :)

Man...it's going to be a close game against Miami on Friday with Kuzma likely out.

At one point, their bench had a 22-10 edge scoring. Probably ended up being worse. @LTLakerFan summed it up disparity wise.

At one point in the 4th we had Anus, Wear, and Caruso out there....we'aren't going to beat a lot of teams with that G league lineup.

Is it fair to say that this loss was borderline unacceptable?

That was Kevin Durant and many scrubs beating the hell out of the Lakers and shooting 55% and getting 20 more rebounds.

i didn't see the game, but it was a road game against a team that had kevin durant, and we didn't have ingram or kuzma. i think it's acceptable.

50-33 on the boards is unacceptable under any circumstances, though.

Yeah, whatever i'm fine with this loss...2nd night of a back to back on the road missing 3 key guys.

I know they were missing 3 all-stars but they still had some dude named Kevin Durant.

Things might have been different if KCP and Ball could have been more effective scoring.

Again, look at the players we started the season with after the DLO trade and of those last night ... Nance, Clarkson, BI, Kuzma and Hart were not available to play, with only inconsistent IT right now left to balance their loss. Our subs were G-leaguers and GS subs were NBA players.

In the end, it was scrubs and rookies vs. scrubs and rookies with one team having Durant and the other team having Randle. I love Randle, but I can count on 1 finger the amount of basketball players in the entire world that are better than Durant.

I was just as confused as anybody...we were short handed but so were the Warriors...but it was a second night of a back to back on the road...but i saw some scrubs on the Warriors beating us...but they still have Kevin Durant who set the table for everyone...but he had an off night....but we were playing Wear, Ennis, Caruso at the same time...but but but...

Yeah, I'm just going to chalk this one up as a loss that I already expected to happen and having key guys out on the road on a 2nd night of a back to back is more detrimental to us than the Warriors having Klay, Curry and Dray out for one game.

But I'm still annoyed we lost...and Lonzo or KCP needed to step up last night offensively with Kuzma out...and they didn't.

This game was just the perfect example of how getting two max stars puts us in a different stratosphere than waiting a season and taking the same crew back. I mean in the microcosm of one game, we probably win this game with ease, but I mean actually competing for a championship? We've got so far to go still... Two max guys would really push the fast forward button though.

    :This:

Replacing IT with George or Bron and we most likely pull out a victory. We probably win a good majority of the close games we've been in this year (9 total). With one star/closer we're in the playoffs, but are we legit title contenders? That's why you gotta go with 2 stars at the very least. Which is why the Kamentsky poll last week that had Laker fans leaning towards only adding PG this summer had me at this mood :PauExplode:

I like the idea of 2 max level players. I just prefer they be quality individuals.

But I guess beggars can’t be choosers
