I think he's more interested in the money being maximized for this contract actually.

    Thoughs on this proposal?

    Deng/jc/brewer/2020 unprptected 1st/chi 2nd returned
    For
    Wade/Rolo (brooks brother)

We do this for wades expiring n wade can serve as a solid vet off the bench, could reup on the cheap if his banna boat budyy james comes. Rolo can be a solid backup C, his contract replaces jc but 1yr shorter and he can be brooks insurance if we cant bring brook back at a decent $, hes a better fit imo defensively, we need def anyways from our C and reb, whichbis rolo specialty. We obvious remove deng salary next yr so there's that 2 max slot n maybe enough to bring back randle.

Chi gets brewer expiring assets in the picks and lavine insurance in jc considering lavine is an athlete that tore an acl which isnt guaranteed to recover 100%

Yes, in a heartbeat. I'd throw in more if needed, Nance/Zu maybe.

Id pass.. Im not taking back anything but expiring.

Plus Clark is probably easier to move than Robyn.

says who? they make roughly the same except Rolo has 1 yr less on his contract. JC is perceived by non laker fans as a non defending inefficient chucker, Rolo is seen as the dirty work guy who's decent on D and can reb well.

Well... After thinking how can i play along. You think you can trade Lopez for a 2nd? We can always stretch him if we needed?

I just think it gets complicated with this trade lol.

I wouldn't trade rolo, I just dont resign brook. With Deng contract gone its more than enough to do 2 max and you still have a starting C in Rolo, now you just have to see if Randle will do us a solid and take a team friendly deal if he does grow his gm and is a solid fit.

I know you wanna make this team better but i think we gotta do better than Rolo my friend. Rather re-up KCP. I might be down for that as a backup plan?

I'll do anything to get rid of Deng, JC 3 future picks----kinda reverse Nash trade, where we send out the garbage player instead of getting one but send out unprotected picks lol

If they're looking to sign a veteran PG why not Ramon Sessions

I've wondered this myself, he seems solid to me. He wasn't what we needed years back when we still had Kobe and Pau, but this is a completely different situation. I guess if we haven't heard a thing about him he's not interested or we aren't.

As it pertains to Deng...as long as we're getting expiring deals back, I'd trade everyone on the roster not named Ingram or Ball. Whoever it is we sent him to won't ask for all three of our pfs so we'd still have either Kuzma, Nance or Randle.

    In a heart beat.

He's one of the few PGs that could actually maintain a similar passing style as Ball, and he'd be dirt cheap
