He did, I'm just pointing out that they didn't close out particularly well on the three point shooters and Hernangomez was the main beneficiary of that poor defense. He tore them up from out there and shot over 60% from three and so did Jamal Murray as well as Beasley as you pointed out. I just wonder if they are going to be able to improve on D from last year, which was actually pretty darned good. They took a step back last night obviously if you give up that many points.

The refs were dreadful last night. So many ticky tak whistles off ball, almost always interrupting momentum. Someone mentioned a new rule emphasis?

Here's the link to the video

Everyone is going to have to get used to it. I just hope we don't turn into the NFL where the defense is so restricted in what they can do against the offense.

Just saw the video on Official’s Point of Emphasis, and I see the team that would be most benefitting from this is none other than the defending champs. I wouldn't hold it against the NBA when they as much restrict defenses, but when they allowed the zone defense during the Shaq-Kobe era, it cost us a few championships, IMO. As long as the defender uses lateral quickness and the proper use of the arms and hands, and if it lessens defenders from playing dirty, it is fine by me.

That was who I thought of first, especially with Cousins down low how it seems like you can't guard post players now. Not to mention the freedom of movement stuff with players running off of screens and stuff which also helps the warriors.

I hope this is just one of those things every year that the league makes a big deal about but come the end of the regular season and into the playoffs things kind of go back to normal.

Svi and Rondo look great. RR should stop thinking and just launch it in the games

Trudell and Tania are talentless with useless abilities now? You come up with some of the oddest and most baseless random proclamations. But you're fun other times.

Overall, I like what I've seen from our main guys this preseason. The flashes are there, just have to give the guys time to gel and get in a rhythm. Come about January...look out.

Now, I think the one thing we all can agree on is needing a backup C. I give Luke credit for experimenting with Kuz/Beas at the 5, but it just seems like a Byron move. Wish we wouldn't have let Thomas Bryant go.

Definitely. Brandon Ingram is skinny and doesn’t take up much room, so LeBron James approved

I guess we want to be able to throw Rondo out there with the bench because we’re tired of seeing the 2nd unit turn to crap when one of LeBron or Rondo isn’t out there.

This team is full of thouroughbreds ... Man they are fast, and when Lonzo is integrated look out! The key will be the defense that will allow them to more consistently open up the game. Too many times we are trying to run off of made baskets instead of defensive stops.
