Are you sure these weren't like pornos or something with a similar name like Forrest Hump or The Temple of Poon?

I'm pretty sure they were motion pictures with large budgets and real actors and everything.

    Could have been wrong though.

You are wrong. There is no spoon and there is no Matrix 2 and 3.

I figured this can just be the Marvel thread. I'm super stoked for Daredevil on Netflix. I think this series is going to be fantastic.

Even if he's not being distributed by Marvel, he's still a Marvel character. Close enough to put him in this thread.

Thank God they're going with the R rating. I thought a pg-13 rating for this would be its demise.

I'm so excited. Honestly I was ready to pass on the movie until the unrated version came out on DVD/Bluray/Digital if it came with a PG-13 rating.

Deadpool is about three things: Violence, Blood, and Sex/Food.

They'll probably cut out a bit of the sex, they'll probably tone down the blood a little bit, but the violence and the food better be there! I'm excited about this movie finally!

On a completely different note Daredevil is getting rave reviews on Netflix. They're saying it's exactly what Marvel needs to balance it's cinematic universe out. So far we've gotten the guys who save the world with the Avengers. We've gotten the guys who do the fantastical behind the scenes spy stuff with Agents of Shield/Agent Carter. Now we're going to get the heroes who are just trying to protect their cities and their neighborhoods. It's supposed to be darker, violent, and carry more suspense than the Avengers.

I'm looking forward to Daredevil maybe more than I'm looking forward to Avengers 2.

I haven't watched any of the recent superhero TV shows, but I'll definitely check out Daredevil. Just something about it being on Netflix gives me a lot more confidence in its quality.

The reviews have been great. Everyone says D'Onorfio is fantastic as Kingpin.

If you're a comicbook fan (specifically Marvel) Agents of Shield is a million times better than it was when it first came out. Ever since it tied in to Captain America: Winter Soldier it's been a lot more entertaining.

Agents of shield has gone from one of the worst shows on tv to one of the best. You really have to push through the first 18 episodes, but it really takes off after the fall of shield. The last episode was fantastic.

As for DD, Denofrio looks like he is gonna hit home runs.

I had no idea Vincent D'Onofrio was involved. I'll definitely watch it now. Surprisingly, I used to watch a lot of Law and Order: Criminal Intent. Most of it was trash, but I probably kept watching because of his performance.

Vincent is Kingpin and by all accounts he gives a tremendous performance. I'm incredibly excited. When I was young I loved comics for their out-of-the-world heroes and enormous consequences. Now I love comics like Daredevil that show you how a world like theirs would react on a smaller, personal level. Just really creative and intense.

I'm definitely more excited for Daredevil now than Avengers 2... that could change, but right now it's Daredevil all the way.

Just finished Millers Man without Fear, which is good, and started Born Again. If the tone follows Miller's example its gonna get dark quickly and that will be a good thing.

I believe he also said they're taking from Bendis' and Maleev's Daredevil which is also great. I'm really looking forward to this series. Three more days!

Bendis or Kevin Smith's run is next on the list.

I read volume one of Bendis' and it's very good. Starts off really dark, ends up more brooding, but very smart. The first volume plays a lot on his intellect and his nature. It's a strong run. I would say Miller's is probably better, but Bendis did a good job too.

Solid reviews! I'm glad most of the positivity is coming from Hawkeye! He deserves some love.

Also... About 3 more hours to Daredevil!!!

I'm pissed, I just assumed it was midnight eastern so I stayed up. Guess I'll have to catch it tomorrow.

On another topic, I love all the Deadpool photos we're getting now. It's looking just how it should, how I was afraid it wouldn't. Ryan has been posting a lot of pics on twitter, like this

This definitely has a shot at being a hit. I'm pretty excited about it especially since they said it'd be rated R! Reynolds is a cool cat and I'm excited to see him bring Deadpool to life.
