I'm up for trying out any player that might light a fire under the butts of our guards to play defense. Competition is good.

6'4" guard averaging over 1 block a game, and 13 games with multiple blocks is impressive at any level. Good Dedender

Hope he shuts them down in practice day one.

Profit was solid. I saw a guy who had a place in this league as a role player before that injury.

He plays the lane well and seems to have long arms. Can't find any of his combine type numbers.

I've watched a few D-Fenders games and the kid is interesting. I'm not sure about his NBA fit because he has no jumper, but if he can translate that defense... Definitely an interesting call up.

I wonder where he finds his minutes at? No more Deng?

If you want an idea of how athletic this kid is and what he does on the floor:

Wow! We need another person who can finish at the rim. Nice defensive instincts too. Scouting department strikes again.

This team needs some defense first players as well, ESPECIALLY on the perimeter.

Sure it would be nice to find two way players, but most players are scouted for their offensive skills.

I liked what I saw from him as well. Definitely Tony Allen lite working around the rim, great off ball work offensively, great slashing/cutting, and high defensive activity.

Yeah I see a Tony Allen lite here for sure. Wonder where his playing time will come from but I sure hope he brings it, during practice too.

I mean, if we're obviously tanking and looking to develop/scout, I'd say the minutes come from Swaggy/Deng.

Stops playback mid clip ... comes here to say holy s*** how great to have a back court beast like this. Is he more athletic than JC? How about speed and quickness? Some of those spins and moves and explosions to the basket look really quick. The defense!! :FistPump: Heads back to finish clip.

Well...I'm impressed. If he brings that kind of energy on defense he will be a welcome addition to the team.

With the open roster spot I said my preference was to sign a young talent from the NBDL.

    So, hooray!

I don't know that he's faster than Jordan, but he's definitely more locked in defensively.
