Im not easily scared but i would never, i repeat NEVER, mess with a huge snake like anaconda or python. I don't like snakes in general but i rather get bitten by a venomous snake than give this huge freakn thing a chance to eat me alive.

I don't think this thread has the desired effect on me, I find half this stuff fascinating, not horrifying, especially the deep sea creatures. The colossal squid video, that's awesome, what an amazing animal. Videos of those alive are incredibly rare, and videos of giant squid alive at the surface like that, don't even exist.

That's how I am with rodents. They don't scare me at all. I think they're all cute, but some people are terrified of them.

I hate all manner of sea life but wish them well as long as they stay far away from me

Like, I'd love to have this thing, even though some would be scared of it:

Animal Planet had a doc where they actually filmed it eating a large fish that was baited to lure it out of the depths. It is speculated that there are even larger ones farther down. Reports of whales with large sucker marks on them from fighting with such large squids.

I do find great white sharks fascinating. I wouldn't hesitate getting in a shark cage while they swam around me just for a look.

    I don't like spiders much...

And that I also find incredibly fascinating. We've only been able to film a giant squid alive like one time in very recent years, in the depths with multiple elaborate set-ups, only one of which worked on like the last try of that trip. To think that there are bigger ones down there in the depth, it's like a different world, almost like another planet down there. I also like to believe that there are other gaint creatures in the depths that have yet to be discovered, I think the world is more fun with a little mystery left in it.

I'm not fond of spiders when they're close to me, or on me, but just like the deep sea creatures, seeing footage of the wildest spiders out there, in their environment, can be fascinating. I think the only stuff along these lines I would actually say I'm "afraid" of or don't want around me are bugs that can spread disease. I hate mosquitoes, can't even leave the slider open on a hot night without those things coming in and buzzing all high pitched in your ear, sucking your blood and spreading disease. What's the point of a bug like that, what I ask you?!

Tarantulas are fine... I knew this girl back in the day who had one as a pet. Of course, I did not want her to know that I was not comfy with one until she placed it on me. It was freaky and weird but there was nothing wrong with it. I've seen black widows around my house. Not cool...

Now THESE dudes... Sydney's Funnel Webs.

I'll tempered...nasty as hell...not afraid of anything. Can kill a human because their venom is so toxic. They don't bite and run...they nail, then inject, hold on and keep repeating. Australia has craziest creatures...most of them lethal by land or water. Crocs, that Funnel Web, marsupials/flightless birds that gore, venomous/constricting snakes, sharks...even jelly fish that could mess someone up badly.

Mosquitoes are deadly... Malaria comes to mind.

They do excellent floral service like their smaller cousins but them things don't want landing on me. I don't swat at them but keep a nice distance.
