    I never understood the whole jewelry thing, for guys or girls really. The only jewelry a guy should own is his wedding ring...and an array of puka shell necklaces obviously.

    Yes Luke is in full tank mode. Young hitting 3s certainly doesn't help. And the Lakers don't want to increase his value either because he is a FA.

    I believe that's a dangerous game. If they want him back, keep him happy. But if he's too good, he gets $ elsewhere.

    This is what I was telling my friend at the game last night when we were watching him on the bench during a timeout. I said there was a chance that we keep him this off-season even though he will likely get a bigger offer and on a better team but now with Luke telling him that they're going to look at other players and sit him down I don't think the chances are very good now.

    For the record I would like Nick back and totally believe if we don't insult him and wanted to extend him, or after he opts out, that he would have a major home town discount that he'd give. Hell .... we don"t even know if Nick is going to opt out. Who's his agent and what kind of smoke could he blow up Nick's you know what to convince him to opt out? What are odds Nick doesn't opt out? Demand can't be too huge around the league with his resume to lure him from comfortable and preferred warm weather beaches and all that ish So Cal?
