His action faces remind me if Sid from Toy Story.
Can hit the perimeter shot, constant motor, lay it on the line attitude... Makes for a complimentary player that can contribute right away. Looking forward to seeing Wagner in the Summer League.
He keyed the Wolverines' deep run in the Tourney...
he was on my radar since last draft so im good with this pick
He's going to be gifable
I loved Moritz when I saw him play this year. Had no idea we’d actually pick him. Was sure we’d go big man/ rim protector based on all the predictions/projections, but I am extremely happy they got him.
This is what I saw from him. He’s in the right place for ultimate progression.
Stretch 4/5 with banging ability. At 25,i like and trust it.
Wagner like Hart was not a one and done player from college. Worked on his game...grew into his physique..had nothing given to him. To me that is a positive.
thoughtful answers. you can see why the lakers have gravitated towards more experienced collegians.
He's so gitty..
Why so serious?
I loved him in IT
Seriously though, I like the pick fine. Once again the FO takes a guy almost none of us had, but I think he’s got a shot to contribute.
Haven't watched his player reel yet but if his rebounding/handles are as serviceable as everyone is suggesting, he should project better than Ryan Kelly IMO. Sounds like a good complimentary player for the way we're trying to get out on the fast break.
Ryan was just a shooter really and afraid of contact. He had solid athleticism, but let himself get bullied. Mo will get pushed, but I absolutely guarantee you he'll push back.
He's also going to be a leak out candidate early and often for our team.
...or initiate the first push. Character? When they were beating Cinderella Loyola (?)...he went out of his way to console their best player off the floor while the game was going on.
Never forgot that moment...can play and is a good cat too.
